QUOTE(hye @ Feb 3 2008, 10:27 PM) It depends on the bank's policy. The general rule is up to 85-90% of your credit limit. Might be lower or slightly higher but definitely not 100% of your limit. Normally it's minimum RM1k per transfer with up to 3 transfers maximum but this depends on how long is your BT repayment. I have seen banks asking for min RM2k for a 36 months repayment. It's my fault as well. I didn't really read through all the clauses. I read partially. It's OK. Not a fuss for me since I have cleared the outstanding. Just a little tight wallet for this month. Somemore, it's a big month!

QUOTE(DDSFan8 @ Feb 3 2008, 09:32 PM) having a high credit limit can be very dangerous. As I know, Citibank don't give high credit limit because they dun want to get customers into credit risk My boss's Citibank credit limit is RM50k I think credit card companies are willing to give high credit limit, if your income is high and your monthly usage requires high credit limit My boss's Citibank points is now around 800k+

TreatPoint x 5 u know ! somemore with VISA WAVE free for life anyone applied? does it link with yr Maybank2u ? Applied but waiting for their call. Don't worry, it'll be linked automatically to your M2U. By the 5x TP is valid till 31st July 2008. It's a time limited promotion. DDSFan8, you're correct on Citibank BT. No more RM30 processing fee (No fee w.e.f. 1st February 2008) and minimum acceptance transfer of RM1,000. This post has been edited by David83: Feb 3 2008, 10:35 PM

as I know, all my friends also doing BT from other card to Citibank. They rather pay Citibank the money with low interest rather than other banks. Besides, all done through phone, so convenient.

QUOTE(DDSFan8 @ Feb 3 2008, 10:41 PM) that is Choice card la. Clear card don't have that unless you call to check if you are selected Sorry. Typo. It's under Citibank automatic Flexi Payment Plan for Choice CC. Does it this mean any purchase above RM 500 will be automatically converted to FPP without the need of calling to CS? Any Choice card holders to clarify? Which one is better? Choice or Clear CC? This post has been edited by David83: Feb 3 2008, 10:43 PM

QUOTE(bluefries @ Feb 3 2008, 11:19 PM) eh.. i late payment for Maybank..they wil fine RM50 ah? Monitor your statement if you're being charged for that. Late payment charge should be 1% of your outstanding or RM 5 whichever is higher.

It's a good idea to use the IBG / GIRO services to pay your bills. Save you time and efforts to pay your bill. This post has been edited by hye: Feb 4 2008, 01:20 AM
