I would like to mention that the latest news regarding the Service Tax for credit cards and charge cards are still in their PROPOSAL stage.

For any members wishing to quote this news here, please do so responsibly and accurately. I will have no one posting irresponsibly regarding this news until the proposal becomes approved by the government. Some discussions (would like to note : responsible, mature discussions) on this Service Tax has already started in the General Thread - readers wishing to know more, please head there.

BigPay cards are prepaid cards and may not be part of the taxation scheme. Even if you ask their CS, their replies are likely to be "monitoring" as the service tax is still in proposal stage.

should have chargeback policy and system to do so.

bigpay would have access to their partner bank's portal to perform chargeback.

after looking at ToS, it specifically said no chargeback. not sure if i understand it correctly though. can the bigpay guy clarify on this?

The PIN is the 6-digit code used to authorize the transaction. Similar to PIN and Pay. Nothing to do with unlock app.

I originally thought you can. But I have encounter at least one major outlet saying it can't be used. Beside that, been using it everywhere, local and overseas. But for overseas that requires OTP, I did have problem receiving SMS for unknown reason.

Please check your online banking account again. The adjustment is normally made 1 days after the first cash rebate is credited to your account. But this month the remaining rebate for online transaction is credited 5 days later. And I got the full 1% cash rebate for BigPay transaction too for this month.

thanks.. i will recheck my account and see how it goes. asking u guys are way more clearer than OCBC cs doh.gif

I recently went to Singapore and bought tickets but it seems there is no big point earned on AirAsia ticket only on bigpay spending? Meaning you only get once big point on AA ticket RM20=1BP

AFAIK, not all AA tickets entitled Big point. Those Economy promo ticket should be excluded.
The Big points only will be credited into your account 1-2 days after you took the flight.
You can check your Big point summary in your account, if your flight ticket not entitled for Big point then will be shown as 0.

tell them it's a prepaid card
for those who use Visa/MC for all transactions , it makes no difference
but some use MyDebit for debit cards and Visa/MC for credit cards, they need to choose which one to route
if they don't understand (many won't) then tell them it's credit card

tell them it is debit card.

for some government agency, they only receive the card which got money inside and they call it debit card.

they dont understand what is prepaid card. however, they use debit card terminal for bigpay prepaid card, it can go through.

i use it SSPN counter before.

I top up RM36 in my account but I didn’t receive the RM10 refund, does it take a few days for it to be reflected in my account?
