I start the spending around 12pm today. Not sure still got quota left or not lol
RM400k pool on 7% is like RM5.7mil spending.
Around 571 users of BigPay tongue.gif

consider getting a debit card as well (if you didn't already have one)
because their limit is 5k per card per day, so want to abuse also hard
But if you didn't already have one, you can only apply on Monday, by then I doubt there will be quota left

I think very likely they will classify this as "quasi-cash" or something, therefore not eligible to the 7% because too many people using it and with very high amounts

I heard dual-function CDM/ATM can dispense up to 99 notes ? Anyone experienced this ?
Anyone even been to an ATM that can dispense more than 3k ?

BigPayJonathan In view of the proposed RM 25 SST on credit card services, does the BigPay card fall under that scope?

Most likely won't be affected because it's only for credit or charge card (Amex)
This is a prepaid card
plus I think the purpose behind the tax is to stop people from getting too many CC and going into debt (but I doubt its effectiveness)

If the cashier ask is this a debit card or credit card ?  What should be the answer?  Any different if they select credit/debit on the terminal machine?

tell them it's a prepaid card
for those who use Visa/MC for all transactions , it makes no difference
but some use MyDebit for debit cards and Visa/MC for credit cards, they need to choose which one to route
if they don't understand (many won't) then tell them it's credit card
