Seem like ur OLT connected to configured for SN auth. But I think u can connect also without SN, i mean blank SN & PLOAM. If success mean no auth or just plug n play. OLT auth should be as example SN+PLOAM but can't SN OR PLOAM.

What will be ur speed using MyIX server? That's my favorite server as it really neutral server located in the middle junction between every ISP.

I take my case back, I troubleshooting until morning found out IPv4 TM is really congested so bad, only IPv6 are smooth

cause to many test, hack D-Link firmware to modify RTL960x ONT Feature bits like "ignore_conn_uniNode_check" (bridge mode can use any LAN Port), "report_tcont_number", "ignore_ds_pbit" other stuff

as I keep testing D-Link, PON Stick, Skyworth,

I use back PON Stick to use internet for family use until midnight,

until now I still connected ALCL OLT without PLOAM Password, just my own Nijika S/N (NIJK24000001),
I even reboot, factory reset, still connected without PLOAM Password

trace back what I did, I forgot which one cause, and not to bother to re-try// too tired already

and MTU seem fixed already, but cannot MTU 1500 like before with Juniper

tonight I try without Nijika S/N and see what happen

I wonder if I can ask Unifi Elite to register my PON Stick, so I can use my own OMCI and OLT can provision VLAN via PPTP only and make everyone happy

and MTU now fixed, can connect 1492 bytes, hope stay this way

Went to KLCC Unifi store just now,

Current package : Unifi home 500Mbps Pro upgrade (lastime swu sumthing) - Rm119

Deal with 1 lady staff, using the previous script given related to check contract and been contacted by astro for package 500mbps with rm90,

Upon checking contract, mine still active until Sept 2025, she firmly said that cannot give other offer sir, since still in contract but kindly reaffirm that once contracts end there still be other offering they will offer.

Seems they oso know edy to counter our script, i tried oso mention, bout the transfer id, and possibility of astro absorbed my remaining month contract (making story only), but she not even flinch to offer me the current SWU offer. So now at klcc, not like before can just get that offer while still in contract.. Iskk..iskk..

She just said, kindly check properly sir, worried that u pay 2 bills at one time if not done right. Pftt..

Guess will try again my luck later Sept 2025.. Anyways.. Goodluck to others guys.. Penat oii naik klcc nie.. Nseb boleh lepak2 chillies.. Hahha.. 🤓

Your contract still few months away, and everyone knows that early termination need to pay remaining months. Therefore the last part of your script surely won't work because they know Astro cannot be so generous to pay off your remaining months.

how come ntv7 is not viewable in unifi tv?

NTV7 become DidikTV. Not just unifi tv but also in astro tv or in whatever tv provider name nationwide include online live tv.

Not gg... Everything is working correctly. TM have moved all their BNG to default-free routing from my observation and turned on RPKI check.
Initially I thought your lone BNG is configured incorrectly because mine still cannot do 1492 MTU and I must use PLOAM password.

So I was kind of guessing something f'ked up and TM just recreate everything. But since OLT configuration is location based, I supposed they just temporary allow all connected ONU to continue operating by just registering their SN. It is just a theory.

Did you fill up your uplink to cause the disconnect or it just disconnect by itself?

OK, I got a different theory.
I lean towards problem with the BNG and not the last mile distribution network based on the following facts:
1. OLT cannot do HQoS
2. OLT is purely layer 2 and cannot differentiate IPv4 and IPv6
3. Given your problem only occurs with IPv4 but not IPv6 on all ONU regardless of PPTP and VEIP, it cannot be layer 2 issue.
4. Only BNG do layer 3

My guess is...
Since this is a new BNG, maybe they didn't configure the TCAM partitioning correctly. Now I don't know the hardware and the spec, or even if it uses TCAM or HBM. But let's just assume it is classic service router and uses TCAM.

The IPv4 routing table is very large and if the TCAM partition is configured incorrectly, it will overflow and the BNG will fallback to software processing. The only way to know for sure is check the BNG log for TCAM exception. At least on Cisco that's what shows up in log.
On IPv6, the routing table is much smaller and it will have no problem and packet just flies through.

Now if this actually happens, it is in an undefined behavior territory. They might get route flapping. Will PPPoE disconnect? Not sure, it is undefined behavior when the system is overloaded.

There might be another cause, CGNAT state tracking. Even if you have a public IP, there might still be state tracking. Maybe it is configuration issue, maybe it is software bug, maybe it is just how it works. But I really haven't come across CGNAT state tracking issue causing PPP session to be killed.

Or maybe the supervisor / line card is just broken. Everything is just a guess.
But main focus would be on BNG based on what happened to you.

EDIT:
Just to mention, at least on a Cisco, if TCAM is overflowed, latency did increase and bandwidth did drop. Exactly like what you observe.
