Tried the termination trick online. One lady called from 03-20217930 called and offer SWU 5.0 at RM 90 / month for 500mbps package free Disney Hotstar for 12 months with renewal of 24 months. Originally was told <6 months contract entitle to change. Subsequently, was told unable to proceed due to previous bill waiver, contract left 4 months and estimated penalty RM479.

No luck. Have to stay with Unifi for now without any new offer.

Unifi Store Kepong, no question asked. Just enquire about RM 90 for 500mbps package. Forced to sign up Unifi Mobile RM39 package for 3 months. Eventually cancelled at Unifi Store Museum. Now looking at how to get refund for advanced payment paid. Don’t go to Unifi Store Setapak, not willing to help for cancellation!
Left 4 months plus contract for SWU 3.0.

Prorated charges I understand. Mostly they will charge me for 4 days which is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and today. How to get it refund to my credit card or bank account?

Other than SOP called lucky. Need to try or effort to get luck.

Currently paying RM119 for 500Mbps.
Waiting for contract ending by August to try luck for RM90.
But then.. why does my 'Service Start Date' showing May 2018 in the Unifi dashboard?
I am confident that I re-contracted myself for 500Mbps back in August 2023.

Too many people abusing it and it's hurting their ARPU, revenue side is not happy

i in the process upgrading 500 mbs SWU. if i remembered conrrectly when cs read tnc for me, it stated this SWU 5.0 2025 is not eligible for any free upgrade in the future.

but think 500mbs/rm 90 permanently is already cheap and good enough for me, i just said yes and agree to the tnc. i also think if price 500mbs will be cheaper in the future, it probably not going to happen within 24 months contract. So. even the price drop. i just switch after the contract expire later in the future

Unless UNIFI changed the tnc, i think no free upgrade for this SWU 5.0

Finally get call by TM, but it not from unifi selfcare portal...
My first request terminates 14 Jun via unifi selfcare portal, next day received sms...

2nd request 20 Jun via unifi selfcare portal, get sms same day...

3rd request 23 Jun via https://unifi.com.my/support/contact-us (under services request form), get email confirm next day...

My guess is via email response, becoz both my unifi selfcare portal request still under open and Unassigned,

the downside is it takes 5-7 working days to activate the SWU 5.0 500 Mbps RM90 (Free 12 Months Disney HotStar) and got meantion this upgrade is without STD20 (600 Minute Free call), and my contract ends on 18 October 2025.

I hope this method helps those of you still waiting for a counteroffer from TM.

My case was Free Speed Upgrade from 300 to 500M, not even SWU

After so long never change my profile so I complaint

At last said must change router because same reason lah their record showed I am still on RG5 but I said I don't want you don't need to come just change my profile will do

She replied: Cannot, MUST take

I said okay lor if FOC + no contract extension I just keep as backup lah

So 2 person came in a van just to pass me the router and speedtest, and case closed

Today public holiday but TM finally called me to counter SWU 5.0 RM90@500Mbps including phone line and free call free 600 minutes.
Also included is 1 year of Disney Hotstar access but i have no use for it actually.

No new router they said mine is still new.
I am using DLink DIR-X3060Z.

No, i got 1 router only.
My only issue is if i off the router within the same day it will have problem of disconnecting itself and have to on and off router a few times (causing around 30-60 minutes of downtime) before being stable again.
I have not done any firmware update and use as it is since installation by TM personnel.

okay, I know now youre just pretending. but i have been using unifi 300mbps@rm139 for 20 months or so. nt enough yet for 24 month. can I use this trick too so I can get cheaper internet? in a household of 2, even 100mbps is good enough for me. as long a I can can get cheaper internet.
