ya same here. im usually connected to my wireguards (my home network) on my androids. the songs played only for 5secs and said failed to play. disable wireguard, then using 5G data everything ok.

Then it should be Unifi issue. Will escalate this to cs.

Just accepted the offer from TM for SWU, 500Mbps to 1Gbps (RM159). Free 6 months bill. Speed will revert back to 500Mbps after 2 years.

For the new 1Gbps plan, can I use my existing router (Asus RT-AX86U). I've been using this router for the past 4 years without any problem. Current setup is zte onu connected to asus router.

The telemarketer person said that technician will come to my house to change the router sad.gif

If I'm not mistaken, the new setup will be onu+router in one box, isn't it?
*
You can continue using the old ONU.

However you can also ask the technician to setup the new ONU+Router as normal.
THEN save the configuration of the new router into a PC or your phone.

Then you can ask them to convert the new Router as a bridge and connect to your Asus router.

In this case, you can use either the old ONU or the new Router (Bridge).
In case of your Asus router failure, you can even convert the new bridge back to Router. Then get new Asus router and convert the new Router back to bridge.

So the new router can become sort of a backup than can serve as a bridge to your Asus router or reverted back to standalone router ONU.

As mentioned earlier in the previous thread, I wanted to switch to Astro Fiber (500Mbps for RM 90) but was counter-offered by UniFi.

Currently paying RM 129 for 500Mbps+Ultimate+Free 600 minutes.

Counter-offer:
RM 90 for 500Mbps with a 2-year contract, and the price is perpetual, so after two years, it will be the same RM 90. It will still maintain free 600 minutes, but no more UniFi TV. It also comes with a one-year free Disney Hotstar+. Free router upgrade as well.

Already accepted the offer to stay with UniFi.
*
What router you currently use? Wifi 6? For me, they said no router upgrade. Just get the 500Mbps/RM90 plan only.

Anyone recently have Unifi 2gbps "free" upgrade then their line is fucked?

I had an email on sunday of upgrade then till today my line can barely reach 90mbps. Opened a ticket and they've been "escalating" here and there for past 6, days im on the verge of jumping ship to maxis if this shit keeps up.

Just learnt today that there is an ipad promo for upgrading line, which i got screwed out of the option of taking up since they upgraded my line...

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone here can guide me on how to enable the USB port on my TM router to function as a media FTP server. I have a HG6145F3 provided by TM. I've plugged a USB drive containing my media files into the router's USB port.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to access these files from other devices on my home network using an FTP client or even through a web browser. I've looked through the router's configuration pages, but I'm not seeing any clear options related to media sharing via USB. Perhaps I'm missing something or looking in the wrong place.
Has anyone successfully set this up with a TM router before? If so, could you please share the steps involved? Any specific settings I need to look for, or any guides I should follow? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Got iPad promo, sure recontract 24 months already. Your option is to call 100 and screw them, or report direct to MCMC.

Using own router all this while and they came and wanted to change it to a Skyworth router but according to them, ours is better so just left it with us without configuration.

Interesting.  I try to check what are the recent devices that added to my network and try to disconnect one by one.  Btw pause frame can affect only upload instead of download also? Mine download 940mbps no issue. And flow control is supposed to be enabled or disabled?
*
Pause frame basically tells every device on your network to pause transmit. Transmit = Upload.
It should be DISABLED.

It is easier for you to just disconnect everything and test. It is a straight Yes / No if nothing is connected.

i have spoken to 8 different unifi personnel so far no resolution, tried calling 100 the automated call would tell me that i have a ticket and would hang up. No resolution provided so far, they've opened and closed my tickets daily to make it look like they've fixed my problem, i took SS of it and sent to MCMC in my report.

Tried disconnect all devices from wifi router one by one, left only my iPhone 16 pm. Speed test still showing upload speed of 150mbps plus. So can rule out it’s caused by pause frame.

Thanks for correcting me. Yes usually device contract is 36 months. It's too late if he wants to switch provider.
