Nowadays with Netflix and other app and streaming website, still got ppl torrent? I see BT website mostly gone already with RARBG. China ppl likes to use their own version of cloud storage "pan".
Enshittification, subpar encoding etc. Any streaming services can take away any of your wanted shows anytime they want. Why bother when I can just download my own linux ISOs and use my own hardware to keep only what I plan to watch. You pay for NF monthly, how much shows on it you're actually watching and interested?
Free streaming websites is full of ads, sure you can watch a movie there, but the experience won't be good and limited platform availability (Watching on a smart TV such as LG/Samsung) is annoying to say the least.
RARBG is the only big "public" tracker that's gone, 1337x etc still around. Private tracker scene is still going strong (IPT, HDHome, TorrentDay, FileList to name a few). Getting into major/non niche private trackers isn't too difficult just fyi, you just gotta be ready to seed.
Any drive is susceptible to takedowns, if the link gets found, studios just send a request and the link is gone.
Pan is only meant for China IP and China users, downloading from overseas is practically impossible unless you're using some rate limit bypasser or just buying membership to download.

My June data usage with linux ISOs sharing, uncapped qBt traffic sharing around 156 torrents atm
