IP to location is best guess only. Manual select server in KL see any different. Or test with fast.com

if too many unifi 500Mbps RM90 subscription
tm willl chance to set Private IP i just guesses  rclxub.gif

because 100Mbps and 300Mbps a lot people subscription that why getting Private IP

mine is SWU 3.0 500Mbps RM119 i will not try method terminate UNIFI online if tm call me offer me 500Mbps RM90
its too risk due Private IP not suitable for me

that why i waiting 1GBPS or 2GBPS Offer
i am very imported Public IP address only
i will never never downgrade

What is Private IP, why is that important?
And why when more people get the 500mbps RM90, TM will change to set Private IP? To who? And whats with 100mbps and 300mbps?

Public IP is typically used for CCTV purposes. https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/computer-netw...c-ip-addresses/
And ignore him, he is just fearmongering others.

private ip torrent will slow too compare public ip torrent faster

i already compare my friend 100mbps private ip fell abit slow and torrent can't get speed full
let say few seed private ip speed become 200kb/sec or 650kb/sec sometime drop 50kb/sec

public ip fell stable and torrent can get faster speed full
let say few seed public ip speed become 2mb/sec or 10mb/sec or 20mb/sec no much drop like 5mb/sec
see faster public ip

Typically a normal user won't feel the difference and I think you should stop spreading false news, those are your assumptions that TM will remove etc. Even if they want to remove, there is nothing we can do about it or paying RM 90 or RM 119 or whatever won't differentiate the "level" of your 500Mbps.

Let me explain it in a clearer way

Public IP will allow faster torrent speed because it enables you to open ports for direct peer-to-peer connections.
- P2P users with public IP can connect to both private and public IP peers.
- P2P users with private IPs cannot connect to other private IP peers, because neither side can accept incoming connections.

However, most of the time, the difference is minimal as usually high quality P2P peers have a public IP.

Public IP also allow you to host your own server, NAS and etc. That's because public IP can have a direct public facing open port to allow incoming connection.

Apart from P2P, most modern apps and pretty much every online game do not care about private IP these days. A lot of ISPs in other countries do not even offer public IP anymore.

In the case of TM, I don't see a difference in routing or network policy between public or private IP AS LONG AS they are within the same IP range.

But the performance might still be affect by the congestion on the CGNAT gateway?
Because It looks like some users with cgnat will having lower qos compare to higher speed plan user.
IIRC someone with unifi CGNAT said before the latency might get higher depends on the ip range.

Tried selecting server manually to KL in Speedtest.net (37mbps which shown i'm 1200km far away) & Fast (20mbps), Even after rebooting router and changed the ip, the result is below 50mbps

Like I mentioned on my previous post.

As long as you are in the same IP range, CGNAT / public IP got almost no difference in terms of routing / congestion.

In the case of a gateway router congestion, it will affect both CGNAT / public IP users within the same IP range.

For the case of TM, you can actually view their network policy and there's a minor different between different IP ranges.
