BTW, i got a Red "Honda Racing" Cap from the SC.. whistling.gif
I got one too recently brows.gif now put at back speaker where everyone can see. Hehehe.. I think maybe it's their promotional period to give free caps after service.

Can't remember who asked about the jerking, but during slow acceleration is not noticable but during high speed (eg if you're cruising at 100km/h) and if you step on pedal as sudden acceleration then it will jerks.

sad.gif sad lah with my City. Can't feel the ultimate power of it...

I took a video of jerking. Will upload it soon. Anyone can provide guide how to link my youtube video here? Usually when i link the video dissapear.. rclxub.gif

point taken and thanks. Suzuki Swift, have tested both, the manual is really a hot hatch to be driven hard,
takes corners with a breeze, nice handling, good car slightly pricey to me, but cant go wrong, good luck rclxms.gif

According to old reports in asia.vtec forums, this gear hunting symptom might be the startup clutch problem. Some of the fellow there replace the startup clutch under warranty... well, after much nagging to SC and direct call to Honda Malaysia HQ.

Don't delay, go to your SC fast.

I dont think it's gear hunting, it's just jerking but the gear is not like it's 'hunting'.
I feel it's the engine tuning / ecu or something and not gear related. Anyway i will try and bring this to SC by end of this month and provide all with the result smile.gif

dear neato4u

please reset your ECU by doing this:

take off the battery's negative terminal for 15 seconds and fix it back
then restart your engine and enjoy your ride

PM me to be added into the owner list...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
General Information

If you're looking for a car that is very efficient when it comes to fuel, then look no further as I-DSI would fit your option very well. The I-DSI has good low to mid-range torque.

If you're looking for a car that has better power, and don't mind the slightly higher fuel consumption compared to I-DSI, then you should check out the VTEC model. The VTEC has good mid to hi-range torque.

Honda City's Fuel Tank is 42 litres. Both models I-DSI and VTEC has the steermatic control (7-speed manual/auto shifting on the steering).

The automatic gearbox's selection is:
P - Parking
R - Reverse
N - Neutral
D - Normal Driving
S - Sports Driving
L - Low Gear

3rd Generation: VTEC | I-DSI
Interior: Beige | Beige
HP on Engine : 110hp | 88hp
Rear Brakes : Solid Discs | Drums
CD-Player: Kenwood 50Wx4 CD-MP3 Player | Blaupunkt Miami Beach (if i'm not mistaken) 50Wx4 CD Player
Meters: Normal meters | Normal meters
Rear seats: Ultra seats | Ultra seats
Wheels : 15" Alloys | 14" Alloys

No electronic folding side-mirrors.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

4th Generation: VTEC | I-DSI
Interior: Black | Beige
HP on Engine : 110hp | 88hp
Rear Brakes : Solid Discs | Drums
CD-Player: Kenwood 50Wx4 CD-MP3 Player | Blaupunkt Miami Beach (if i'm not mistaken) 50Wx4 CD Player
Meters: Self-illuminating meters (aka Optitron meters) | Normal meters
Rear seats: Bottom seat drawers but no ultra seats | Ultra seats but no bottom seat drawers

Both has foldable side-mirrors, ABS and dual-airbags and 15" alloy rims.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
