S is for Sports mode meaning that you will have higher RPM than the D mode before it change gear, torque and horsepower will be mode in this mode

for fuel consumption, of course this S mode will consume more petrol as you have to rev higher before it change to the next gear

how many years you wanna loan?
i assume you are going for 7 years, the roughly interest rate offered by Maybank or Public bank is 2.42%

steermatic is good because you can play around with the gears if you bored with the auto gear, you can down shift and hit the redline and hear the VTEC roars

How Honda Steer-Matic works ?
Simply press the master control beneath the right steering wheel spoke to enter the 7-speed mode. A digital display on the instrument panel illuminates to indicate the present virtual gear position (1-7). Then shift up or down by pressing either of two identical lever-action buttons on the steering wheel.

***Remember: There is no actual 7 speed gear, only virtual gear, i think the gearbox has only 4-speed gear in actual gear mode***

i-VTEC has CVT/VTC too but it is running on actual gear ratio

7th Generation 2.0 is using K20A engine while the 8th Generation 2.0 is using K20Z engine

7th generation 1.7 is using D17A engine

not only the Type R using K20A, the previous CR-V using K20A and the 7th generation civic 2.0 is using K20A
