Honda City's Fuel Tank is 42 litres. Both models I-DSI and VTEC has the steermatic control (7-speed manual/auto shifting on the steering).
Guess right or wrong?

QUOTE(Fasap @ Oct 25 2007, 05:45 PM) This again I would like to second.. we tend to get deviated when we buy 'branded' cars and most of the time dismiss some quality issues in our Hondas/toyotas etc.. the fact is their QC is no much better as proton's 'tak-kesah' attitude even when considering they go by for example toyota 'the toyota way' standard.. You better be blinded by the H than the P, otherwise you will forceably cleared your leave just to send your car to SC.Malaysian ppl easily get blinded by brands.. imho thats the secret behind honda's and toyota's success in the SEA region.. imho.. just slap on a brand.. ppl will buy in droves ..thats why im still driving a honda even that i know this.. im blinded by the H |

QUOTE(neato4u @ Nov 2 2007, 05:47 PM) Can't remember who asked about the jerking, but during slow acceleration is not noticable but during high speed (eg if you're cruising at 100km/h) and if you step on pedal as sudden acceleration then it will jerks. According to old reports in asia.vtec forums, this gear hunting symptom might be the startup clutch problem. Some of the fellow there replace the startup clutch under warranty... well, after much nagging to SC and direct call to Honda Malaysia HQ.I took a video of jerking. Will upload it soon. Anyone can provide guide how to link my youtube video here? Usually when i link the video dissapear.. Don't delay, go to your SC fast. |

QUOTE(neato4u @ Nov 5 2007, 12:18 PM) Sometimes geram la because no actual clock. If only they can implement a clock on the speedometer (like the small display which shows your mileage), that would be extremelly helpful. Wear a watch. I'm searching to put a nice clock in, but until now can't find any (need it to be always light so i can see in the dark - guess that mean i need to connect clock power to the car eh). Haiyo.. good2 car but no clock.. what lah.. |

QUOTE(F1meteor @ Nov 5 2007, 01:36 PM) haha.. watch could be a temporary solution Get a Casio STR-600 PHYS watch. It came with a slope/angle sensor that will auto illuminate when you turn your watch at your face, plus it recharges with sunlight - no need to change battery. Who needs clock in car? i'm looking for a digital clock with background light as well.. been to car accessories department of supermarket, and still couldn't found any.. I'm still wondering whether it is the nature of CVT, or just happen on few?! |

QUOTE(apisgogo @ Dec 24 2007, 04:38 PM) damn, wasted my good 3 mins and came late to work. haha They can use the 'shift lock' button to escape from P. wa, nowdays is not safe anymore. My SA told me that there is a lock mechanism that can lock the brake pedal directly underneath the steering (without any funny looking or jetted out or hook up to steering). coz from 'p' we need to press brake 1st, then we could shift to 'r' or etc. Im gonna ask him further about this. and u r rite, the city alarm is loud! There's also some pedal lock from Thailand, which has connector/adaptor built-in to fully support the car alarm itself - i.e. the car won't even start before unlocking the brake lock. I just fitted them into my new Vios, cost around RM450. They should have Honda City model as well. Support steering tilting, don't worry. Well, those brake lock and steering lock are for making your car more time wasting to steal. If they wanted to, I had my friend Hilux with both lock detached and put in front of his house, while his Hilux disappear. Since using Cobra, they also should have a GPS tracking (+ insurance and send SMS to your phone) add-on to your existing alarm, with subscription around RM300+ per year, and the device one-time fee around RM2000. The insurance claim is around RM2000 when the car is report stolen, and if within 72hr not found, they give you another RM10,000. And they won't take back the money if they found back your car after 72hr. This post has been edited by dstl1128: Dec 24 2007, 06:36 PM |

psi 200 I think your tire already go to heaven. Standard should be around 32psi +/- 3, or around 200~230kPa.

Just got info from SA that the current City (after Nov2007) has slight improvement and updates on every bits & pieces compare to the pre-Nov2007 ones, if I remember correctly, they are:
- stiffen ride for VTEC version due to complain from City VTEC owner - ECU updates - built-in antenna I'm not sure whether this is true or not. But the CVT response I drove during the City FL 2006 vs a 2008 one has slight changes - newer one seems to have harder engine brake. Any Honda/City owner can clarify? QUOTE(iRonTech @ Apr 16 2008, 10:31 AM) Should be. Since the i-VTEC engine code is still L15A. And also no more iDSI engine - instead it should be replaced by L13A i-VTEC.New L15A won't have 12v/16v mode already - constant 16v mode. New L13A will have the 12/v16v mode. L15A ... around 122ps. |
