QUOTE(PJng @ Jan 29 2022, 12:40 PM) Actually 2.5g is not that expensive except for the router. For the motherboard, you can buy a 10g expansion card for around RM400+, at least for the hardware side of things.Ok maybe you need a network switch as well. QUOTE(tng55 @ Jan 29 2022, 01:03 PM) how much you got offered 800MBPS I already reply/stated the price secured for me above. RM269. I believe, I already mentioned from where I got the 'leak', again above. The thing is, speak with the installer respectfully, they will tell you everything.how possible a new plan is on the way 2Gbps Plan where you got leak information ? |

QUOTE(John42 @ Jan 29 2022, 04:12 PM) I remember back in Dec 2020 someone from TM posted on Unifi FB group that they are testing for 1Gbps connection but till now no sound about it and now this 2Gbps plan 🙃 Haha. Deswai I itself told, not sure as early precaution to ensure that even I am not spreading lies. Sometimes installer may leak some info if you good enough to them. That's how I got this rumor. If if the plan is real, the price should be expensive. John42 liked this post

I'd rather TM reduce the price for current packages than introduce 2Gbps plan which I think most residential users will not be able to fully utilize. Then again it is TM so

Allo and Time for 1Gbps is RM199, so how much can TM charge for 1Gbps and 2Gbps, since not much competition at landed property.
800Mbps already charging at RM349 and require to bundle with unifi TV. Im guessing they will replace the 800Mbps with 1Gbps and introduce new package for 2Gbps. Pricing for 1Gbps could remain the same at RM349. Or they completely remove 800Mbps package and introduce new pricing for 1Gbps. So maybe 1Gbps at RM389, 2Gbps at RM489, both bundle with Unifi TV. Based on their fuckup history, I will not surprise that they went with the latter. This post has been edited by Rainings: Jan 29 2022, 07:53 PM |

If they really replace the 800mbps with 1Gbps (keep current price) then i am fully satisficed with TM,and i am willing to renew the contract. 800Mbps already charging at RM349 and require to bundle with unifi TV. Otherwise i don't think most people that got PC with 2.5Gbps port strongly want to change that new 2Gbps plan. And also i think TM not going to give a router that having 2.5gbps LAN port router. (Highly possibility will be normal router and people need to use 2 port together in order to maximize the "2 Gbps") This post has been edited by go626201: Jan 29 2022, 08:45 PM |

QUOTE(aniq8676 @ Jan 30 2022, 01:33 AM) TM launched two new plans, which are not worth it at all. This might be the reason why new subscribe/upgrade 100m rm129 removed unifi tv bundle. I don't think playtv is even included anymore for rm129 version (correction: only basic free channels available on playtv app like rtm/tv3) ![]() For those who want to subscribe, I recommend you subscribe to the RM129 100mbps which comes with the RM30 UnifiPlayTV pack, can be use on smartphones/Tablets and Android TV. pjng sudah kena after just upgraded to 100m 129, wanted to redeem iqiyi but found out nothing to redeem because no tv pack and end up accidentally subscribe to ala carte iqiyi worth rm8.90/mo This post has been edited by MyProLife: Jan 30 2022, 02:27 PM John42 liked this post
