I manage to get "SWU" upgrade from 100Mbps>300Mbps. I am still under contract, my contract end in June 2022.

How do I get it done.
1. Walk into the nearest TM Point. Tell the security guard you want to ask about Unifi package, get the number, sit down and wait.
2. Tell the staff that you received a call from TM regarding "SWU" offer, just say that during the call they told you, you can walk in to TM Point to get this offer for fast processing. (The truth is, I never get the call from TM, I lied) . They will ask you which package they offer you. (You can just say 300Mbps or 500Mbps that you can't really rmb.)
3. Show ur phone that you received this "SWU T&C" pdf UnifiLink after the call. (To sounds more convincing), says that's why you are here at TM Point.
4. Show your IC, thumbprint, they will check the system. Yea, there is such a package in the system. Confirm you want the package and thumbprint again. Approved on the spot, got SMS modify order within 1hr.
5. Schedule date and time, next day TM technician come to my house for speed upgrade. (The guy brought a new router want to change it after I told him my Asus router was better, he just restarts my modem and router then ciao)

What I get:
- Price remained RM129, speed upgrade from 100Mbps > 300Mbps
- Get a new Wifi 6 Router (Will just keep it as a backup, since I just upgraded to Asus wifi6 router)
- Still can get free call, they told me at TM point (Surprise!)
- Unifi TV account (I didn't ask because I don't care lol)
- Renewed to 2 years contract.

Note: You can get 500Mbps for "SWU", but they are charging RM199 for 500Mbps. Current price for 500Mbps package is RM249. If you are okay with the price can go for it, coz is still cheaper than msrp.

I also had a backup plan if my lies didn't work out.
I brought the old Streamyx package account detail(paper) with me from year 2006,
wanna persuade the staff I am a loyal customer, nego abit and see if it works. Since I'm also "Loyal customer".

For those who want/plan to get this "SWU" package, I will suggest you to do it immediately, go to ur the nearest TM point request for the upgrade, try your luck. From my experience, they will stop the campaign when they realize ppl started to abusing it. Rmb few years back they launched a Streamyx package RM89 10Mbps, that time I was still paying RM110, I went to TM point immediately and switch to cheaper package. A few days later, they call off the campaign. If you don't have any plan or option to port out in the next 2 years, this is a great deal. Actually I already get free trial boost to 300Mbps for 1 month, but manage to get the permanent package before entering to new year feels pretty good. Good luck for those who trying to get the free upgrade.

Today is the last day for the campaign

as long as you get speed boost, that's the most important part. regarding the free call, they told me at TM point free call is included.
Will find out next month when I get the bill.

bruh, this pdf was shared over here like 1 or 2 weeks ago by someone. I'm just going thru all the prev posts on my own and found it.
I wasn't aware the campaign ends today until I shared it to my cousin。
and I just got my package upgrade from yesterday.
You need to stop blaming anyone in the forum when you, yourself, didn't check and read thru everything.
It also stated, they can end and extend the campaign period without prior notice.

if you received SMS order for UNIFI Modify Order then yes, its confirmed u will get the package.

my fren recently got his BTU replaced as well, because his BTU is just way too old. It requires renewing contract for 1 year. If you need both modem and router to replace, a new one will require to renew for 2 years.

Anyone successfully upgraded to "SWU" from 30m to 100m? My cousin went to TM point, they said he is not eligible for the "swu".

My cousin still under contract and he is using 30m, so he is trying to get SWU for speed boost to 100m.
At first i tried via live chat, but no luck on that. So I went to TM point and get the package. Yes im still under contract.
So I manage to get speed upgraded from 100m to 300m

ikr, from what im aware modem is always life time warranty from TM, the technician told me during the installation as well.
Maybe this is the new way to trick user to renew their contract.
His 800m package was turbo boosted few years back and priced less than RM200, when he asked TM to replace his modem and router TM says that it needs to renew 2yrs contract and no longer can offer the same price for the 800m. Few days later he asked again to only replace modem, but it still requires renewing contract for at least 1 yr, but package remain the same. Could be a new trick by TM.

Seems like most of the ppl here that getting SWU also didnt get unifi TV

2 wifi6 router can create mesh, 2nd router is another node.
Deco mesh is TP link mesh
AiMesh is Asus mesh, it's their own branding for their mesh.
You can only stick with 1 brand if u want to invest in mesh

I want to know also if still on going wanna ask my cousin go try it again at different TM point.

A MCMC report will be enough, so that they will take it seriously, but need to provide proof to support your claim.
Maybe a police report can help.

So we can confirm the pricing for SWU package:
100m > RM99
300m > RM129
500m > RM199
Whether you can get free call or not depends on ur luck.

TM has been exploiting their customers with monopoly pricing for ages, it just got better few years back when Gobin Singh push for National Fiberisation.
If it's not him, I think I will still stuck with 10m RM110/m. If you are not comfortable ppl lies to get better deal that's on you, you can continue to pay extra with the same speed, because it's your right to do so.

I won't pretend I'm noble and never lie, that's just hypocrite.

Do I feel bad about lying to get a better deal from TM? Not at all.
I am just an opportunist to "exploit" the system that they didn't gate keep it properly. Ppl will eventually find ways to get it, even without lies.
If they can offer a cheaper price for someone they can offer it to everyone, they just don't want to, because they can, why earn less when you can earn more?
They don't care about you as long as you pay them.
Ppl can just keep quiet when they get this deal, whether they get it via lies or TM offer them. Maybe this will make you feel better if you aren't aware such package available for selected customer.

Yes, you really donno at all, Unifi is the only option available in my area and some others' area.
There are still ppl stuck with copper connection and paying hefty price monthly.

I find it extremely slow when my ip address at 60.xx range, very hard to connect to battlenet and steam. Cannot reach some websites.
180.xx and 172.xx is fine.

Also cable is wayyyyy cheaper than mesh wifi and almost guarantee stable connection for years to come.

It should be "Stay with Unifi package", many ppl here got it before contract end and after.
1. Do you have other option other than Unifi? if no then you can consider renew the package since its the same price that you pay monthly and now comes with faster speed.
2. Check with them to see if you still can get free call. Many ppl still got free call with this package, including myself.
3. Unifi TV most likely not included, if you really need it you can nego with the telemarketer since your contract ended. iirc, some ppl got free call+unifi TVwith this package also.

Compare the pricing for Maxis, TIME if those ISPs are available in ur area.

The RM159 package is not Deco mesh wifi, they just give u 2 Wifi6 routers to create a mesh. It's the same fiberhome router, the white one, that I got for SWU package. Someone also posted this when they get the RM159 package.
It's consider false advertising tbh.
If you want RM129 package you can go to TM point to try your luck, or terminate at TM point, im sure they will offer u SWU package on the spot. Many ppl got the offer when they terminate the service.


for 30Mbps RM69 is a pretty good deal if Unifi is the only ISP available in that area. The standard msrp for 30M is RM89.
If allo fiber availalbe they are offering 50M at RM79, but not sure if you still can get this package.

Better deal if ur place got TIME fiber. Price really unbeatable.

Last time during Streamyx era, free call only free for TM <-> TM fixed line, mobile u still need to pay.
For Unifi, you get free 600min call time for mobile also and fixed line still free. But for special number, u will get charged. If you call TNB or Lembaga Air.
