No need to be so paranoid lol. Let's take my example which is probably the majority of the Malaysians use case. My choice for unlimited uncap high speed internet is either Maxis or Unifi and no Time broadband. Since TM owns the fiber infra it's pretty obvious I'm going for unifi. In addition maxis's broadband is not the best quality so that's another reason for unifi. If Time was available I would definitely use that but landed property so bad luck, no chance.

Do some of the forum members work for TM? No doubt since this forum is pretty popular in Malaysia. Are they promoting anything? Doubt they need to since most people already know about it and are actively discussing. If they're answering technical questions then that's a good thing. Easy on the insults, we know we're not as smart as you so relax la don't be so angry. Since you're so smart please educate use dumbos more, thanks. sigh.. TM / Unifi.. got my FULL BILL yesterday (email) even when:
1. Registered for the Free 3 months before mid-Oct

2. Followed-up after 5-6 working days, Oct 21, with TM Unifi (Facebook messenger), stating no one called to follow-up which, according to TM Unifi Customer Service, they are supposed to.

3. Was told "checked and in the process". sit, wait, good dawg

then, yesterday billing date - full bill came for Oct. wheee...
i wonder if i'm still locked-in for another 2 years OR due to their breach, i'm free of any contracts

Heck our government or enforcement agencies such as PDRM has investment in this sort business because of bid data involvement. They want to make the speech platform as casual as possible to make it addicting but you know it's more to it.

TM unifi blocked Samsung Services ?

Funny story though, I got accused once by someone here that I’m working for TP-Link , which is quite funny as I was only recommending their products as a budget option for other users.

There are a lot of users here who are networking enthusiasts and is more than happy to help others, so I wouldn’t be so cynical if I were you.

Those on 500M and 800M are users who were on 50M and 100M then got turbo sometime last year. These are not new users. There is currently no 500M and 800M packages offered. Maybe next year?

RM159 for 800 is actually quite common, I think. But you need to take all the right steps. It's more luck than planned cause you never know what TM will do in the future.

Advance30(179) --> Advance50 (179) --> Pro100 (189) --> Pro100 (159) --> Turbo800 (159)

So far the above progression seems quite optimal. But not the best as there're ppl with 129, 139, 149.

As again i am also on Unifi advance 30 mbps RM 179, why no promo and upgrade for me ? I always check on unifi promo also.

My bill was RM137 but my 800 is still RM159.

Because the month before and as a Boost user, I have to pay 168.55-50-50-50-50=-31.45 so 168.55-31.45=137.10

Maybe Tm should hire soonwai as ambasaador of unifi to explain to unifi user that complain why internet still so expensive in malaysia.

I'm surprised to see everyone targeting soonwai for RM 159 - 800Mbps, there are cheaper 800Mbps users on this thread. RM 149 is the cheapest I have seen so far.
