Hi guys, do you know which speed test are the TIME technicians are using when checking the speed? Is it also by Ookla? I'm asking because when i'm doing speedtest i can only get max 150Mbps via cable. I'm on 500Mbps plan. But during my router upgrade (ec230), i saw the speedtest the technician did is getting 500Mbps.

Hi,
Can someone explain to me how a fibre cable within the connector housing in a router can suddenly snap? I've been having TIME technicians coming over for the past 4 working days... In a row. I'm frustrated and very pissed off. Each time they come, strip cable, change connector either at my router or the riser. |

QUOTE(SonicSpyro @ Dec 3 2020, 12:16 AM) Hi, Hi, I guess you mean the connector that plugged into the ONU (fibre modem), yes it is possible, either the fibre cable is not in good condition or they have done the bare core overly bent within the connector. Can someone explain to me how a fibre cable within the connector housing in a router can suddenly snap? QUOTE(artadi @ Dec 3 2020, 10:33 AM) Does most or all subscriers here always gets the max speed of your package? Like 100mbps for 100mbps package or 500mbps for 500mbps package? I feel like can only get the max speed when the technician is doing the speed test. |

Try to disable Antivirus and run a test. Thanks. |

I feel like can only get the max speed when the technician is doing the speed test. Your broadband is best effort. But MCMC mandate user must able to get at least 80% of subscribed speed. You want to get 100% speed, get a DIA, which is super costly. And truth is default wifi router always sucks, get a better one yourself. |
