Edit: As of 755pm, it's fixed. Guess I really was the only one affected. This post has been edited by SonicSpyro: Oct 1 2019, 07:59 PM |

Lesson learned. If there's a message about high fibre reading from the self-care diagnostic page, don't report it in. Chances of getting your fibre cable messed up is very high. Red LOS a few hours after changing the fibre connector.
2 different techs on 2 different days. Now I'm likely without internet until Monday. |

Hi,
Can someone explain to me how a fibre cable within the connector housing in a router can suddenly snap? I've been having TIME technicians coming over for the past 4 working days... In a row. I'm frustrated and very pissed off. Each time they come, strip cable, change connector either at my router or the riser. |

Had my whole fibre cable installation changed today. Really crossing every single thing I can and praying that there would not be anymore red LOS issues.

QUOTE(xHj09 @ Dec 8 2020, 08:49 PM) QUOTE(stasio @ Dec 8 2020, 09:40 PM) Had the same issue with both Netflix and Yahoo (Finance). Gave the router a reboot (not power cycle) and now everything loads back as it's supposed to. First step to troubleshooting anything, "did you try to turn it off and on?" |
