Then we need a definitive list of routers that can achieve practical speeds of 1gigabit or as close as possible.
*
The ethernet port can only support 1Gb (theoretical max). So with the overheads in the TCP packets, you can never get full 1gbps. Theroretical max is around 950mbps with overheads (wired speed).

Of course I'm not expecting the full 1Gb. I'm just saying I want the same kinds of speed achieved over wifi as wired. Or at least over 900 on wifi.
*
for WIFI, you need at least 3x3 MIMO. both router & wireless device must have at least 3x3 MIMO to get that kind of speed.

Astro IPTV packages temp no upgrade yet. Current revamp only applicable to TIME Fibre Home Broadband.

this is astro facebook reply to user's post

"Please be informed that the pricing structure for Astro IPTV’s broadband services are stipulated by our broadband partner for bundling purposes together with the Astro Pay-TV services and thus it defers from the standalone pricing provided by our broadband partner. Astro is currently revisiting the pricing of its bundled broadband and content services jointly with its partners"

Only the fibre modem needs to be returned if I'm not mistaken

Yes if got another power point, your modem keep restarting by it own right?

Thanks.

Found the problem. The modem power adapter problem. Used another power adapter from old router. Luckily it is compatible.

Thank you for you suggestion. Prompted me to try another power adapter.

Have reported problem to astro iptv. Should wait for them to send technician? To change the modem? I think 7+ years already. Or call back to tell them problem solved.

Hello, it's the best for the technician to solve your issues as ONU carries lifetime warranty.
Change back to original power adapter when they to come to your house.

Thank you.

Ok. Thank you. That's what I thinking too.

Hi,

Currently still under AstroIPTV with TIME. Have been using Astro PlugNPlay for about a year already.

Just received a call from Astro that they will convert TIME to Astro Fiber by end of the year.

Need advice how to separate Time broadband from Astro subscription. I would like to keep the Time Broadband instead of using Astro Fiber. Hopefully with no interruption to the internet connection.

Thank you

Hi, you can apply purely Internet & cut off the previous old Iptv plan. PM me if you need further assistance.
*
Thank you. Will PM you for help when it is time to make the switch to Time independent from Astro. Most probably some time in Nov.

Yes...
100Mbps --> 200Mbps
300Mbps --> 500Mbps
500Mbps --> 600Mbps

1Gbps & 2Gbps remain the same with no speed boost.
*
Can confirm that this speed boost is for ALL current subscribers, regardless old or new, with or without contract?
