Then I probably know where you are staying. brows.gif

What speed you are getting in your master bedroom with your setup?

Lulululul... I'm using 500 Mbps. So my master bedroom speed quite good too.

Getting the 500Mbps installed tomorrow.

Any tips for a first time TIME user in terms of installation, testing etc?

From my understanding reading through the last few pages, it is advisable to get a third party router and mesh to replace the ones provided by TIME. Do I need to replace 2 or just the router is enough?
*
If you have two X6 ONTs, then turn the 1st unit to ONU (bridge mode) by calling CS or request during installation (though many installers don't even know how to do that).... get yourself a decent mesh routers.
Of course the 2nd unit of the X6, you won't be using that as well.
Do note that if you request the Installer to install your own equipment for you, they have the right to charge RM80/hour, with max cap at RM300/day.

Thanks.

My house layout look almost exactly like yours. And also same positioning for the router on the X mark (the crappy Huawei one provided by TIME). The signal is not so good from my master bedroom. The provided mesh also not helpful and keep disconnecting. Hoping to have a better range with this rt-ax1800hp.

Just got my TIME 500mbps installed yesterday, so far living room 250-300mbps speed test on my smartphone.. Master bedroom 100-150mbps, using the huawei router from TIME..

ALREADY bought the asus rtax1800hp as spare

Btw, ur master bedroom keep disconnecting if how frequently? I mean like within 1 hour usage also few times disconnected?

Yes, contact CS to convert to bridge mode.
But cannot replace router with modem/router.

Modem/router must retain.

This model has been flashed & altered with telco specific firmware, the retail model is A6.
My advice is get yourself a more decent WiFi6 router, saving yourself to go through the hassle on this crappy router.

Thanks.

How should I report the following issue..

So somewhere late last year I notice certain sites started giving http2 errors. I thought it was some temporary routing disruption and just used vpn to continue browsing...

Then came April and the issue is still going on so I decided to dig further...
I did the usual diagnostics (test on other devices, upgrade router firmware, changed router, etc..) and found out that it's only happening for some IPs, more specific certain gateways.

Since then whenever I reboot my router I have kept a spreadsheet log of my changed IPs, gateway address and the http2 working status.

The main site I'm using to test the http2 error status is https://www.xda-developers.com

When it not working, using any browser on any devices will always show http2 loading page error.

Yes it's happening and somehow it's solved with a PPPoE connection restart

You can reboot your router to achieve the same thing

Not sure how to explain this and what TIME is doing

Good findings...please send to cs@time.com.my & request them to check further.

I'm finding that twitch is loading slower than usual.
normally no problem handling 1080p60 streams but now can barely handle 720p

I'm also experiencing slowdown accessing services hosted on UpCloud Servers in the US since last week. Fired up a server over there and ran a traceroute back to the TIME network and found the issue is likely caused by routing via Singtel because last time I checked it should route via NTT.

Already talked to both TIME CS and UpCloud Support with all the traceroute evidence. Both say no issue with routing and refuse to check any further.

Routing from TIME to UpCloud is routing via NTT so it looks ok.

However routing from UpCloud to TIME is routing via Singtel similar to previous occurrence back in January

Speeds I'm getting from UpCloud Chicago Servers:
