Just sharing a mini project I did with my Raspberry Pi utilising Time's Home Forward service after I managed to retrieve the SIP setting used by the app. I may write a guide on how to set this up.

Actually I managed to capture the url used for the provisioning of the app and how it relates to the QR code. But yes, I won't share these information openly, only to those who are interested to give it a try. I only use this to receive incoming calls. The outbound call configuration I haven't configured yet.

I know I'm having major slowdowns streaming videos from international sites since Thursday. Not sure what is going on.

YouTube I was able to stream 1080p just fine as they have local CDN server.

Confirmed there was an issue in Cyberjaya around 3.05am. Connection was restored around 3.40am. Its starting to become more frequent. What is going on with their PPPOE server?

Depends on what is your use case. For me upgrading to CAT7 gives me solid 1Gbps transfer speed between my laptop and my NAS server.

Can still use custom DNS server without DoT or DoH. Of course using own router and not TIME provided router.

ISP provided router generally have custom firmware with remote management port enabled which allow ISP to remotely update router configuration as well as push firmware updates.

Whether you should enable DoT/DoH or not is up to you.

If you are having trouble accessing certain websites or concerned about privacy then you should enable it.

I can confirm TIME does not proxy DNS requests based on my testing. Most likely your router configuration is not setup correctly. But good enough you are using Pi-Hole.

TIME internet down in Cyberjaya since 2am. Called in to find out another fibre cut has caused the outage. 4-8 hours until service restoration complete. Dunno why every time have to call in to find out about any network issue.

Checking my network monitoring tool which pings my network from US East Coast during that period. Noticed spike in latency over the weekend from US East Coast to Malaysia.

Same here. Experiencing slow connections to UpCloud and OVH servers since late January. Seems to get a lot worse lately.

Already did my investigation and confirmed the issue is with Singtel. Had to reroute affected traffic via my parent's TM UniFi connection for the past month. Already reported this to TIME. No update yet.
