Yeah... routing is messed up.
Since this morning it is again better, but I guess that is most likely just because of the public holiday here...?  sad.gif

It's not only EU, other international sites also affected. I've notice on IPv6 the pings are doubled for certain sites, The packet loss is high and loading speed is extremely slow.

Hey bro & @saltykopi

FYI I have been following up with TIME CS from September 2020 already about their routing issue,

30+ email chains, but still haven't solved.

The culprit is their peer partner which is Telstra Network (From what I have discovered, in my case at least).

They are rerouting network unnecessarily instead of routing direct from point A to B.

Example : I want to connect from MY to Australia.

But what the routing did was MY - HK - Phillipines - Back to SG - Australia.

Which as a result create very high ping.

This issue happened starting around September 2021 I believe, before that was just fine.

Of course VPN works well, but who would want to pay for VPN when the ISP itself (TIME) should be able to give proper routing service.

Maybe if someone here working with TIME, please raise this issue, I as a TIME user feel cheated with this kind of routing service.

I'm really disappointed with TIME now.

I can confirm Australia ping is bad, for steam/valve games they use direct route its fine. But for blizzard/overwatch the route is like what you mention above, when I was on UniFi could play on Australia servers but since switching to time November last year I can't anymore.

My experience after using Time for sometime now compared with Unifi, I can say Time is for reliable Speed but when it comes to gaming ping Unifi routing for the game servers are optimized for the lowest pings.

A small example would be playing on Overwatch singapore servers. When I was on Unifi with 3ms fiber delay to the gateway, I was getting 17-20ms.
But now on Time with 0.8ms fiber delay to the gateway the lowest I can get is only 23ms, normally 25ms or more.

Hi guys,

On the 11th this month the auto debit system charge me x3 times the same amount.

I called them on 14th to report and they said they will refund but until today they have not.

Today I called again they said that many customers also faced this issue and normally it would take 45 days to do any refund back but they will "try" to speed it up.

It's mistake on their side but to refund takes so long like it's our fault? Is it even a mistake or purposely did that for extra cash flow?

How should I report the following issue..

So somewhere late last year I notice certain sites started giving http2 errors. I thought it was some temporary routing disruption and just used vpn to continue browsing...

Then came April and the issue is still going on so I decided to dig further...
I did the usual diagnostics (test on other devices, upgrade router firmware, changed router, etc..) and found out that it's only happening for some IPs, more specific certain gateways.

Since then whenever I reboot my router I have kept a spreadsheet log of my changed IPs, gateway address and the http2 working status.

The main site I'm using to test the http2 error status is https://www.xda-developers.com

When it not working, using any browser on any devices will always show http2 loading page error.

Since last week there is packet loss been getting packet loss for twitter/x images and video server and during peak hours increased latency to more sites.

Also dns query to cloudflare seems to be slow or suffering packet loss during peak hour had to change back to google.
I'm on 202.184.x.x with the best gateway but on 202.185.x.x or 202.186.x.x the packet loss is way worst.

Anyone else feeling it or having similar issues?

Tiktok, Amazon, Google all started asking me to solve security captcha.

I checked my IP and other previous random IPs in the range of (202.184.x.x - 202.186.x.x) for blacklist and they are all listed.

https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist

https://www.spamrats.com/lookup.php
In spamrats it says "RATS-NoPtr - On the list. Worst Offender Alert."
QUOTE
Alert: Your IP is part of a network listed as a Worst Offender
This is a Worst Offender Alert and this means that not only this IP address, but the whole class 'C' is also on the indicated SpamRATS List. Usually this means the whole range has the same issue of naming conventions or no reverse DNS AND that many IP's from this Class C have been used in Spam Attacks, Dictionary attacks or other forms of attacks, as detected by Mail Servers in the Data Collection Grid. You will NOT be able to use the removal form to remove your IP Addresses. If you have recently been assigned the IP Addresses, or have changed what these IP Addresses are used for, you can use the contact form and ask for a reclassification, but you will have to provide full disclosure, including whois for the ip addresses, your affiliation with the company that owns them, and a description of what the IP's were previously used for, and what they will be used for, in order for a Spam Auditor to consider reclassification. Remember, the majority of the IP's in this space WERE detected as being involved in some form of attack or abusive behaviour, so you had better have a good reason to ask for removal, and you need to own or control the IP addresses, as evidenced by ARIN whois.

Can someone else also double check with their ipv4?

Correct me if I'm from but from what I understand and assume some of the time IP ranges got blacklisted because of some users sending spam emails/etc.. and because of that the security captchas are appearing? Also why don't time just block outgoing emails like unifi to prevent this?

TIME to Singtel is rather congested now

Either that or there's traffic engineering going in

My latency test error was actually due to 9.9.9.11 dns, 9.9.9.9 was fine.

I seem to have no speed issue to Singtel rn.

What is your IP range and location? is it Johor that's why the ping so low?

Looks like 161.x.x.x range has no throttling to certain sg routes and it's only 202.x.x.x issue?

How about your EU connections on 161.x.x.x, is it high ping and routing thru japan or any packet loss?

This submarine cable problem is still causing a massive routing issue. Tonight so many EU sites are unusable. How can't TIME use a different route to provide a relief?

Try refresh your PPPOE wan IP, certain IP range gateway have better routing

Another option is VPN Policy-Based Routing, just get a MY/SG VPS and use any type of Wireguard
