Why ppl still want to withdraw from ATM using BP?
If comparing to Boost:

BP
6 / 3000 = 0.002%

Boost
2 / 1498 = 0.00133511348%
*
I still prefer BP
BP can withdraw 10k
instant cash out, I can put in to SCB privilege saver acc with 4% p.a. return
2 days deposit already more than 0.002% return
nearby my office got SCB bank so no extra traveling cost to me

Multiple depending on how much the ATM allows.....hence the eternal search for the 4k machines.....

Your % should be

6/3,000 = 0.2%

2/1,498 = 0.1335113%

The different between these 2 withdrawal methods is very small.

People use both to complement each other. Some people even use additional Presto.

Now I'm using an ATM nearby my house & stick to the same machine although it can be withdrawn max. 3,000. I can go there during lunch time & no parking fee required. In additional I can staright away withdraw & deposit into the same bank. If I stubborn to search for 4,000 ATM, I may lose out travelling time, petrol, parking fee.

As I mentioned it is 1 primary card only
I suspect that person might be on a lower version of bigpay and never upgrade hahaha

Not bad. You are thinking differently. But still far away from there. Try to crack your head more and find out the answer. 😉

i also aware that the RM10k limit has been gone...
curently i already reload RM8544 this month through cc and there will be another RM1000 from Ambank True and RM600 from QMC not yet done, if the RM600 can went through after the RM1000, means they have removed the RM10k limit. Else if can't i still can throw the RM600 into next month quota as this month HLB spent too much on the RM7, total 317 X RM7 = RM2219 extra...

Hi all,

My friends and I are planning to go to Jakarta next month. I'm thinking of using my BigPay card to retrieve RM2800 in the local currency from a local ATM in Jakarta for all 4 of us to spend. I'm doing this with an intent to save costs by avoiding currency exchanges and also to earn points when I top up into my BigPay account.

Would this method be cheaper or am I better off changing my currency in Malaysia before the trip?

How much is the withdrawal fee that I will be charged as of now? I remember a year ago when I received the card, it was capped at RM10. Is it still the same?

Is there a limit to how much I am able to withdraw?

Thank you!

Also, does the card require my mobile phone number to be active? What if I'm on flight mode throughout my trip as I'm not planning to get a local Indonesian SIM card?

Let others answer your earlier question. However, regarding this phone number thingy. It's not needed unless you need to reload and perform online transactions as banks need to send you OTP.

On another hand, I'm finally at Budapest now and been using BigPay for dining and groceries, small amount with no extra charge. So convenient and the metro ticket machine also accepts CC (PIN & Pay - 6 digits and contactless). I have not exchanged any Hungarian Forint, let's see how long I can survive. tongue.gif
