My friends and I are planning to go to Jakarta next month. I'm thinking of using my BigPay card to retrieve RM2800 in the local currency from a local ATM in Jakarta for all 4 of us to spend. I'm doing this with an intent to save costs by avoiding currency exchanges and also to earn points when I top up into my BigPay account.
Would this method be cheaper or am I better off changing my currency in Malaysia before the trip?
How much is the withdrawal fee that I will be charged as of now? I remember a year ago when I received the card, it was capped at RM10. Is it still the same?
Is there a limit to how much I am able to withdraw?
Thank you!

Also, does the card require my mobile phone number to be active? What if I'm on flight mode throughout my trip as I'm not planning to get a local Indonesian SIM card?My friends and I are planning to go to Jakarta next month.
