On another hand, I'm finally at Budapest now and been using BigPay for dining and groceries, small amount with no extra charge. So convenient and the metro ticket machine also accepts CC (PIN & Pay - 6 digits and contactless). I have not exchanged any Hungarian Forint, let's see how long I can survive.

I still can't top up more than 10k via CC in June. I had to use bank transfer after maximizing the 10k.

i noticed back in apr/may when the max topup balance was >9k at the end of the month (i've topped up few Ks in that month). i thought the cc limit was somehow reset, but noticed it's the balance for wallet limit instead.

didnt try to topup. still abiding the "10k reload per month rule"

I also practice the same. Literally exchange the least amount of cash (the money changers rate are not any better than BP anyway).

Has anyone successfully used your BigPay Prepaid MasterCard to buy or top up an Osyter Card at London Underground Station automated machine ?

Yes I used it to travel around London back in Feb 19 instead applying for Oyster card, just tap in and tap out, really convenient.

I tried the other day but rejected.

Just tried again, still rejected. Balance in wallet less than 1k. Tried adding 5k. I'm left with around 2k quota for the month and that's what is stated in the reject message.

Just as for Singapore MRT, the London underground now accepts contactless payment including visa and MC.... thus making the ezylink and oyster cards redundant....

If you continue to prefer to use your existing ezylink/oyster cards, then you can top them up at any machine using any acceptable cc....including BP MC.....
