Now can top up Boost or BigPay by CC for cash advance. Money still belongs to bank. Enjoy the free CC interest fee period.

For example, if statement date is 18th of Apr, top up on 19th Apr then pay back on 7 Jun, i.e. 19/4-7/6 is 50 days of interest free period.

I mean for those people who suddenly need emergency fund, they need not withdraw from cash advance method by paying bank 5% fee. They can use their CC to top up Boost or BigPay to enjoy low fee, RM2 for every Boost withdrawal or RM6 for every BigPay withdrawal. If they are able to settle the matter within 50 days interest free period then they need not pay any interest.

But for me, I use the 50 days interest free period to manage or roll my monthly necessities. On top of that, I gain from cash rebate + whatever points. I use CC, Boost & BigPay to my advantages.

This had happened to my BigPay card the other day. As the location is not within the bank branch, I have no choice but requested to cancel the card and asked for replacement. There is no way for me to recover the card from the machine.

So my advice is don’t try to withdraw money other than bank branches + outside banking office hours.

Will banks block your debit cards & credit cards?

Is there any websites or apps that can be used to pay Pejabat Tanah & Galian Selangor by Mastercard or BigPay?

Really can't imagine such an advanced state compared to others still can't use cards to pay on their website. Ulu state such as Kedah also accepts cards as payment.

Now no issue adding BigPay card?

No choice, bank procedure is that the staff who opens up the machine will straight away cut the card into half.

No issue paying Cukai Tanah 2019 via Pejabat Pengarah Tanah & Galian WP KL website.

I also have Selangor Cukai Tanah to be paid. Unfortunately, they don't accept card. I have emailed them to ask about their plan to accept card on 12 May. Until now (> 1 week), they have not replied me.

Very funny is that the website is following office hours. Can't perform any payment outside office hours.


The only benefit is payment can be delayed further by free credit card interest days.

Nothing much, can’t even find a good place to spend. Those merchants that they recruited are unknown merchants.

In my opinion, anything below 1.2% cash back or reward points not worth our time, petrol to look for ATM that can be used to withdraw for at least 3k.
