See? No begging (read:calls) to me to ask me to stay with them. Apparently my inference about "losing one or two customers is not that significant" really took place.

Perhaps you should try your luck again at a different TMPoint. Sometimes it seems to be whether the staff / manager there is willing to do.

I think if you are paying more than what their same package is, they will not call or offer. You are paying RM199 50M, even if RM189 100M is the promo, they just go by the price. They want to keep you at the higher price. We all would think as long time customers they would offer the promo, but their interest is to make customers pay more, not less. Unless you go and complain and argue etc, maybe you will get it.

You could switch to the RM189 50M package and then wait and see if after some time they will offer an upgrade to 100M for an extra RM10. Because some RM179 50M users have got the offer for RM20 extra to get 100M. Which will be back to your current price.

If 50M / 100M speed is not that important to you, like others have said, you could get the RM139 30M package. I think it is a matter of time that this package will be upgraded to 50M either for free or with some extra RM. Overall you'll be paying less than you currently are.

As you say, Maxis is another option. The choice is up to you based on your usage.

upgraded to 100mb rm189+aneka pack. today call tm on aneka pack.. they offer free swap with jumbo lite.. got movie ooo.. aneka just malay movie etc so just take it,. got movie. Watching Netflix, iflix, Unifi tv on 1 tv.. as my tv is android tv so no problem. Fox Movie currently free until 31 march and the movie gooding oso.

u can add astrogo and a couple more entertainment apps in the tv.

then u will have so much, dunno which one to watch!

after reading comments here, i called Unifi to get a better deal.. currently paying 199 for 50mbps.. Unifi's answer -> Account already enjoyed free speed upgrade UniFi Advance Plus 50Mbps (Thank You Campaign 2017) since 28/02/2017.

they are refused to downgrade to 30mbps RM139 package coz its for new subscribers, it seems. and said all promo is for new users, got no promo for me.

Not under contract since last year July 2017... so quite arrogant jugak this UNIFI..

P/s. im paying 199 exc GST...so the bill is 200plus..

I also got free upgrade via TQ campaign (30>50Mbps) back on Feb 22, 2017. Then, I still received RM 10 top up offer to upgrade to 100Mbps in Nov 2017. Currently paying RM 189 (excluding GST). When they offered me my contract has ended too. However, I have accepted the offer hence my contract is refreshed again for 24 months.

Ait i upgraded to 100mb same as you and get the same price without renewing contract.

Good for you. All of us who got upgraded in Nov got our contract refreshed.

Like that I want the same price too.. Cheaper and got jumbo lite some more
