That's right. You can't use LAN2 on the modem or LAN3 and LAN4 for that matter. Typically the only active port on the modem is LAN1 and the main wifi router must be connected here.

Yes, my laptop which support only 2.4GHZ can get over 100mbps. For Android phone, i need connect to 5GHZ only can get over 100mbps.

According to TM technicians, they said disabled NAT boost, and disabled ipv6 if your speed slow down.

UniFi router or a better branded router is placed beside the TV. All computers and devices access the Internet via WiFi. Is this practical? Is it a common practice? Or is it more practical to connect at least one computer via Ethernet?

Guys just got the 100m upgraded after complaint to mcmc, however i get the 100m n jumbo pack but not the free std20 voice n i also din see the rm50 special discount. I live chat with tm, at first the lady said free voice call will include if i did request but later change statement said only for those who had that package before upgrade which i clearly stated in my report. N the rm50 discount only will know once my bill generated. Last she said will pass to repective dept to check, i requested ticket no if need to furrther with mcmc again, she just gone like tat. Any advise wat can i do?

NAT Boost only useful to attain full bandwidth (Example, gigabit LAN to LAN transfer) without taxing the router CPU if you transfer files between two different system through the router.
30Mbps = not so much impact. Just enable NAT Boost. There is slightly higher latency (5ms to 10ms depending on how much network traffic, eg, p2p software like bittorrent generates quite a lot of connections even when download speed is very slow) if N.B. is disabled and well as higher CPU usage.


Hardware specification wise, C1200 is impressive. However, software wise.....it leaves a lot of be desired...

The TIME f/w got no f/w upgrade menu. Regret not reading carefully and installing.
Luckily, I found a way to access the f/w upgrade page to change the f/w...

Mine was upgraded yesterday and when I checked online yesterday, the STD20 Voice and the $50 Special Discount was not there as well.
I was planning to call today to complain but I decided to check before calling and it was all there. They must have updated it again...

Finally, after so many hassle TM reduce my 100Mbps Unifi Pro package from RM239 to RM189 with 2 years contract including jumbo package.

According to the person only valid for 2 years

Is this correct?

Switched from Streamyx 4MBPS package to Unifi 10MBPS package. And torrent doesn't work anymore? Anyway to unblock it? Thanks
