Anyone knows what's the maximum speed attainable for high rise building?

Called TM to inquire about the RYE upgrade and was told that as my home is high rise, it could only support up to 50 mbps 

But i thing it is depend TM see that building line,2week ago i ask TM my building support max speed is 30mb,if u say VDSL can get max at 50mb++,then this 50mb got include the hypptv use about 10mb+30mb internet speed?
or is 50mb+10mb hypptv?

That's winbox.exe, Mikrotik routers' configuration software. Much faster than using the web config and, best of all, non-modal.

Depends on TM, when I asked TM, they said the maximum speed I can get is only 30Mbps but when I check attainable rate in my modem DSL stat, it can support 119Mbps.

guys, any of you on 100mbps encountered speed slow down to 60-70mbps after few days? Each time i re-connect again then the speed back to 110mbps... i torrenting frequently

I'm having this problem too. Anyway to fix this?

if you building based :

- VDSL it will go max 52mbps downstream and upstream 3mbps.

- if your building based with VDSL2 , it can go max 100mbps downstream and upstream.

I'm currently on 50mb thank you surprise package and my upload speed can hit 20mb comfortably though 

Called TM once again just now, was told this time to drop by TMpoint, apply and wait for the technical team to visit my place to check whether 100 can be supported 

Broadnet’s moves raise concern with TM, TNB

PETALING JAYA: The aggressive moves by Broadnet Network Sdn Bhd, the company selected by the Government to undertake the Nationwide Fiberisation Plan (NFP), have raised concerns on government-linked companies (GLCs), namely Telekom Malaysia Bhd  ™ and Tenaga Nasional Bhd  (TNB).

According to sources, both the GLCs are seeking more information from the Government before they engage with Broadnet.

“For starters, TNB wants to know for sure if the Government has a golden share in Broadnet and if they are compelled to collaborate with the company,” said the sources.

As for TM, it was learnt that top officials of the dominant provider of high-speed broadband have sought meetings with the Finance Ministry on the matter.

At the moment, TM’s mainstay is providing broadband connectivity. Towards this end, it has undertaken the High Speed Broadband (HSBB) project for several years and continued to roll out broadband connectivity.

“In some ways, Broadnet would be a competitor to TM. So it is only natural for the company to seek clarification as TM itself is indirectly owned by the Government through Khazanah Nasional Bhd,” said a source.

seems like your line attenuation is extremely good, it has direct link to distance from your copper line to TM exchange, lower means nearer
DSL all affected by SNR and Attenuation, sometime is TM dont want to over commit, they simply said cannot support higher speed as general for VDSL

Anyone have this issue? When ever gateway not same as ip address, connection will drop. Need to disconnect and connect again then internet will back to normal speed.

Guys, what to do when you are relocating to new place and does not have coverage/port yet? (My area has coverage but based on street name does not have) I was told to terminate my unifi..

Unfortunately, unless you transfer to someone else, you would have to terminate the account. Otherwise, TM will keep billing you and you would have to pay for services unused.

Nah, that was first 2 weeks when first installed UniFi, now the rate got adjusted. Lodged complain and technician came to check the outside yesterday, was told everything healthy.
