TM is giving new TP-Link AC1200 (C1200) gigabit router. But the start up time just sucks taking 5+mins

not sure about the LAN whether is fast or Gigabit, since my unifi is only 50M sweat.gif

Long time already but yes, 5 minutes. Latest firmware from tplink.com.my (no dash) helps a bit.

according to the user manual found in TM website, it is 100Mbps only. Scroll to page 1-4

Just effect oversea server like US, China, Japan, Korea etc.

Local server like lowyat forum still can access as fast as the server is locate here in Malaysia. smile.gif

Maybe, you need to be patient. Will solve maybe next 2-3 month later... sweat.gif doh.gif laugh.gif

So far I'm not affected, still fast for all sites that I surf.
LYN server is in SG not MY. biggrin.gif

Nowadays everything using gigabit port. Same goes to the old Alcatel Lucent ONU modem. AL also using gigabit Ethernet port.

i got the 50 to 100mbps upgrade call from tm. She say she will call me second time to double confirm and then there will be disruption for my internet.

So after i got the second call will my internet be down for few days or my connection will be slow?

Weird, no such thing during my case. After the call & sms, they just came, gave new onu & modem. That's it.
