Sometimes depend your luck, the SoC in the router might be the culprit. If you confirmed got a lot issue, you can call TM technical issue to report, they will replace new router for you. You also can request latest one which is TP-Link AC1200 from them.

I heard c1200 router got a lot of complaints?

C5 only got a lot issue compared to C1200.

After all, still need depend luck too~

If don want have any issue, get high end router.

My c5 stable so far. Once reach 60++ days without reboot with the latest firmware.

i got weird problem with my dlink 850L. Yesterday i fixed the issue by changing my channels from auto. But now i cannot detect my 5ghz connection if i set the channel above 100. I must choose below 100 only can connect.

Anyone got this issue?

Yeah, my MacBook has this prob sometimes. It detects the country code transmitted from the router and uses it to determine which channels it can use. Look up 802.11d. But sometimes my MacBook doesn't get the right CC and consequentially ignores the 5Ghz channel.

Personally, i sack out tm's l7 router and replaced with TP Link Archer C7v2. C7v2 also has some problem with the latest firmware where the 5ghz wireless signal always drops although there is no wireless interference from my neighbor (most of my neighbor using 2.4ghz according to my wifi analyzer. Have to reboot the router every 7 days. Through ethernet (cable) connection, the router performs at its best.
