right now still using old D Link router provided by them
saw few people post before that new router given by TM is TP Link router

You can request, they will change for free if you renew another 2 year contract.

MAY be more worth it to reapply a new account (free all equipment + warranty + whatever promo they have nowadays). Depends what you're currently paying.

If your equipment still in GOOD condition, no changes on the equipment..

Unless if broken and your unifi still under warranty..

yet reapply under same address, don't think it gonna work hmm.gif
*as my current unifi is upgrade from VIP 5, which comes with free call and upload speed is 10mbps
unlike the unifi lite 10mbps whistling.gif

Good luck in waiting. At least, it's coming but knowing how they work, you really need to be patient. sweat.gif

If u want the free calls to TM landline+free 600 mins calls, maybe can go to add RM20/month for it. My bro also added RM20 for STD after subscribed to the plan of RM179…

You can now change your new tel # to old tel # (must be at same TM exchange area), ie port in your old number to VOBB. One time charge is RM25 only.
Downgrade your 30Mbps @ RM179 to 10Mbps @ RM129. One time charge is RM200.
Wait for free upgrade from 10 to 30 or 30 to next level, if it is in Sarawak.

I called my TM contact and he said RM0.20/per minute shocking.gif ....well....at least my parent only use the phoneline for receiving call......
.....Parent spent more than half a day informing their contacts....ouch......

Nope....rarely call out. Normally only my parent's relatives and friends call-in. So, not exactly worth to fork out

Cannot....the agent ticked the homeline termination for my unifi order. Since the line had been terminated, it cannot be ported over according to TMPoint receptionists. bangwall.gif

This is latest FTTH modem provided from TM.

I don't know the spec.

Just want to confirm is this better than Alcatel Lucent modem?

If yes I'll make my alcatel modem spoilt and claim latest modem from TM.
*
I'm using this modem, got it when first installed unifi in 03/2016. it's a modem by FIBERHOME (nvr heard of it though).
anyone using this modem apart from me?

Guys I got a question here,
Is it possible to connect LAN to PC directly from ONU (the LAN2 port) instead from router? Tried it doesn't work. Why?

Not possible because, as configured by TM, there's nothing on LAN2. Everything - internet, TV and, in certain cases, voice - is coming in through LAN1 of the ONU.
