QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 30 2017, 09:57 AM) That means it's not activated yet. My sister waited them for more than 3 months to activate after white box installed in front of her house. Need to take so long? Since last 2 week Unifi contractor keep working hard on lying fiber optic cable for underground and from pole to underground, the white box already there, but no yet fix to top, still hang at the bottom of the pole. The contractor told me should be available on next month, is it really can be ready in 1 month time? Didnt see any of them to work on this week d…TM will call to inform you when it's ready else you can check the coverage yourself from time to time. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 30 2017, 08:15 PM) Yes. They took more than one year to lie cable underground... And then another three months to activate. My friend in Klang is also facing the same issue, every day look at the white box but nothing is activated since May.. Three months and still counting. Since May… -.- My address just lying cable on last month. Which part of Klang he/she from? Btw, my area is not new Unifi coverage address, the houses of 200m far away already hv Unifi since 2 years ago, hopefully in this case will be faster? |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 2 2017, 10:16 PM) Right now I got two different unifi accounts for my House A and House B. Maybe try to lodge ur complaint to MCMC? Since ur previous homeline is under ur dad's name, how can the agent help u to terminate? I tot need the owner visit TM Point to terminate/change owner name base on my previous experience? Since this is the agent's fault and ur parent wish to keep the number, complain to MCMC about their careless…1) House B previously had streamyx (Unipack 4Mbps RM88, streamyx account under my name, homeline account under my dad name). 2) I registered for 30-->50Mbps upgrade before 28 Feb for House B, too bad fiber ain't ready yet, thus my unifi installation started on August. 3) Installer and new agents said there will be no free upgrade for my package, so I refused the installation. Then TM wanna charge me RM200 for unifi termination 4) No choice but to agree for installation to proceed. 5) -.- Apparently the agent f*cked up, agent selected 'homeline' termination instead of porting the number to unifi VOBB. I went to TM and they said I can't get the homeline number back. My mum scolded me kaw kaw. Then my dad also bombed me kaw-kaw. .....So...... |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 31 2017, 11:14 AM) Sorry, I don't know which part of Klang but he did show me the white box. Since it's Sept now jz waiting for the next miracle from TM. As per the planning of TM, my address shouldnt n the list of 2017. Jz not sure why the white box still hang on the pole instead of fix on top, is it they need to do any testing b4 fix on pole?Hopefully. Next to my sister's taman got one year plus earlier than hers, so really depends on TM. |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 3 2017, 01:06 AM) Exactly what you said on different account owners! Huh? U didnt request to check the signature? Somemore they need to validate ur dad's IC on he spot before do termination , right?I lodged report with MCMC......but MCMC said, TM somehow have my dad termination approval. I suspect somebody inside TM must had faked my dad signature or approval. Because of this, my report is considered as invalid. |

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 3 2017, 01:59 PM) >.< TMPoint said they can't find it when I went there last time. Since MCMC said there is no case, what can I do? Then really no choice but i understand y ur parent angry about it as the number they use for several years, they need to inform many ppl for new number… 🤔 |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 3 2017, 11:07 PM) Good luck in waiting. At least, it's coming but knowing how they work, you really need to be patient. Ya, at least now on waiting list, not demand list. 😊QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 3 2017, 11:47 PM) Try 43 people for my mum and 66 people for my dad..... If u want the free calls to TM landline+free 600 mins calls, maybe can go to add RM20/month for it. My bro also added RM20 for STD after subscribed to the plan of RM179…My phone bill........by the way....what is the call rate for RM179 package again? Cause both were using the new phoneline to inform their contacts. |

Hi... I saw the TM contractor connect a yellow cable to the box and do something at bottom, is it they are doing the interenet testing/tuning? On this step, is it mean the service will available very soon or might still need to do this steps for few times?
On 14/8, the contractor told me will available after 1 month, on 16/9, they told me will available in 2-3 weeks, now already 2 months since first month, but no any update yet. They jz fit the white box on the pole on last 2 saturday... Tot the service will ready available very soon in 1 month time, but actually no. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(iguana_dude_619 @ Oct 20 2017, 09:08 AM) TM is good at giving false hope Ya, the contractor keep giving me the false hope. But at least TM gave me a hope to get Unifi earlier, on February they asked me to check again on next year after their proposal submission on Feb to their 'committee'... Jz hope that I can subscribe to Unifi b4 end of this year... people are willing to pay for you shit & you dont give a rats arse about it |

QUOTE(pakmulau @ Nov 8 2017, 10:05 PM) Yes, after searching on unifi.my,I got this number, but it transferred me to wrong department, end up waiting too long over 6 minutes, and I cancel the call, no patient to wait for. QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Nov 8 2017, 10:34 PM) yes, go TM point is better Jz now I hv talked via Live Chat, the representative said after the order complete,as lots of member complaint that they heard different story from the staff at TM point and live chat I cant migrate or downgrade the plan, so in this situation, I have to visit the TM Point to do the order cancel & resubmit the new application with Unifi Bonanza RM139, tomorrow early morning after I send my wife to work, I will straight to TM Point, hopefully everything can be done on my prefer way, even the service ID & phone number as well. But I jz curious, since they can complete my order, why Im still unable to check my address coverage via unifi.my? The list are not same as their staff system one? |

QUOTE(nuvi @ Nov 9 2017, 06:31 AM) I think it is because of Google Chrome, it is fine after I switch to IE. QUOTE(math @ Nov 9 2017, 08:42 AM) the system in unifi.com.my is not so updated. My unifi last time only able to check coverage in the website 3 months after I installed the unifi. I applied with agent as soon as TM contractor finished setup the box outside my home. LOL. So if agent said can apply means you in coverage already ! They have the most recent updated coverage list. I tot it will be same as TM Point, or agent will even updated? As I remember last time my bro's address updated on Unifi's website on the same time with agent. But it seems like Unifi website got error, cant check coverage now. Btw, today morning the agent called me to ask about my plan, not sure is it because it has showed my complaint/requested via Live Chat in their system, he said he will help to cancel my order and resubmit a new application with Unifi Bonanza 139, abd also using my preferred service ID and phone number instead of random assign. For Powerline, may I know which brand and model is recommended to use? TP-Link AV1200 set is fine if my budget is around RM300? Need to get it before the installer come, as I want to put the BTU on upstairs, while the router at living room near my TV. This post has been edited by twL: Nov 9 2017, 11:53 AM |
