QUOTE(lati0s @ Aug 17 2017, 11:16 AM) Is it normal ther TM Contractors to have shitty punctuality and zero responsibility? Been tring to call the installer number since morning but went straight to VoiceMail. Called 100 and ask the status update, was given new number (different number that was received thru SMS) but still the same story. These fuckers think they simply can appoint a date and make people wait the whole day issit ? Maybe yours is unlucky. I have one installation and two relocations, all came ahead of schedule. Please refrain from using profanities.

QUOTE(kennydy1990 @ Aug 17 2017, 10:05 AM) Maxis fibre wasn't around that time when I first install unifi in my area. I asked the person in my neighborhood how he managed to get 2 cables from pole into his house, he told me he had maxis first then unifi. On the phone when I call 100, the cs told me I have to call the last ISP that install their service on tm btu. Basically is like tumpang to stay in people house but you can't ask the owner to move away and you stay in their house. He then tell me to call maxis and I get a rude answer from a lady saying I can't split up no matter what, even after terminating and reinstall. But I did ask maxis cs via phone if there is extra port in my area(and yes, there is some ports available) before asking a btu split up because if you ask them for split up then for ports availability they will always come up a reason to say "port is full" because they can't answer your first question. I could, but it be nice to have separate btu because it's much cleaner. Currently tm have drilled my aluminium window frame just to pull the fiber cable in. The area I planned to place the btu is not too deep inside the house, just drill hole and place the btu like 2 metres next to the hole on either of the floors in my house. sorry for asking this. why do you need 2 ISP? just kinda curious

Dear all,
Past 2 week, i check my speed through speedtest, noted that TM has upgrade my line to 50Mbps. However, i experience slow speed this week, hence i run through speedtest this week, my speed has decrease significantly to only 20MBps.
Do anyone experience the same problem like me? Has TM reduce back my speed?

TM now poor sangat ke? I think my router got Hardware issue and 2.4Ghz sometime disappear but no problem with 5Ghz. Tried to reset and update the router (TP-Link) firmware and still cannot.
Contact TM and they said still under warranty and need to pay RM53 when technician visit your home. I told them now is hardware issue and still under warranty and they said 'memang ada charge'. If out of warranty, then the charge will become 200+.
I said better I visit TM Point instead of pay the RM53. But they said cannot?? WTF?

According to the online chat PIC they will also charge RM53 for technician visit as I request to change to a router that supports 50mbps. They just changed the router for me yesterday, hopefully they wont charge me as well.

Is still under warranty and still need to pay for RM53. If technician come and no issue at all, you charge it is fine~

UniFi support & techs actually quite good. Fast and efficient.
Last Friday night my neighbours UniFi down. Modem no Link so I called 100 and made a report.
Saturday, it was up. TM called to see if still got problem so neighbour said all OK. Report closed. Later at night same problem came back.
Sunday morning was OK and then problem again at night so made a another report.
Monday, TM technician came in the afternoon to check the external cable to the ports at the tiang. Not sure what he did but after that problem solved. Neighbour happy and baked me a chocolate cake on Wednesday.

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Aug 19 2017, 12:06 AM) later got RM53 charge haha No charge if external problem. Only charge if problem inside the house. No warranty since neighbour already out of contract. 100 mentioned that like 3 times during the call. Charge or no charge, TM will let you know thru the service restoration form which you get a day or two after. Looks something this. All very professional and transparent. Note: Tech that came was TM personnel, not contractor, if that makes a difference. This post has been edited by soonwai: Aug 19 2017, 01:00 AM

They just changed the router for me yesterday, hopefully they wont charge me as well. Unifi contractor came to change my HyppTV STB back when I was still in my first year of contract. It's an old STB with warranty renewed due to contract renewal. No RM53 charge.
