Not immediately based on T&C. My FD matured on 13/9, only received the interest on 12/10.

Hi. Maybank have the efd via fpx promo and the transfer from the other bank was successful. But the "return to merchant" page was loading slow and prompt and error "fpx transfer failed. contact merchant bank".

The deduction was successful but the there is no fd shown in my Maybank account. I called Maybank call center and they informed me that it will take 1 - 3 working days for the fund to be refunded.

Can someone advise if this is correct. I never experienced this before.

Hi didn't get the update here, did anyone else try the "early withdrawal" button and getting the profit? I've one fd due today and the money is still not in my saving yet, and i wish to transfer it to bmm before the bank closes today. I did contact the beu support n the feedback is wait until 11pm, saying that 11pm is still today as stated in the contract!
*
Instead of waiting until 11pm, i withdraw early at 5pm. Maturity was 12th oct.

Got my full interest.

But since i click withdrawal myself, in the user interface, i have one FD categorised under premature withdrawal. The rest was automated, so it was in the completed deposit catgeory.

I am not the 1st one here who tried and done.

Maybank is like this...Biggest bank in Malaysia, but this problem exist for decades. I have gave up doing FD with Maybank. Don't want to die of HBP dealing with them.

the dev/product mgr need to correctly understand the ACTUAL/PROPER definition of MATURITY DATE

seems they assume customers doesnt withdrawal on maturity date itself (which already matured).

however app doesnt react/display/handle "withdrawal date == maturity date" correctly.

AMBANK, RHB, Public Bank, Maybank, Affin who currently has the best rate for 6months - 12months ?

And for PIDM protection up to 250k, does that mean it's better to place 2 FD of 250k each instead of 1 FD of RM500k ?

Out of curiousity, does anyone know how Al-Rajhi's Term Deposit profits are calculated? Might just be me but my calculations dont correspond with the projected profits shown on the receipt upon placing. PM tepi if possible?

3.83% is probably the highest in the market now.

However, Bank Rakyat deposits are not protected by PIDM for those who are concerned.

next month FD mature, thinking to take this offer. Is it easy to open FD account in Bank Rakyat (need to wait 1-2 hours in the branch)?

For this offer need to open Savings account first?
