QUOTE(max_cjs0101 @ Oct 1 2024, 09:27 PM) Anyone has a suggestion how to transfer the whole amount, say RM100k from digital bank to Maybank? Now MBB is having Islamic FD promo at 3.7% but they dont support FPX trf from any digital bank (not listed). No other conventional bank account? If you have, transfer to conventional bank account and then FPX to Maybank. This is what I do. |

I just place some funds in their Term Deposit for 12 months @ 4%. So, upon expiry, no issue to transfer out to my other bank accounts (CIMB, HLB, etc) like a normal duit now transfer with RM50k daily limit, right?

QUOTE(userA123 @ Oct 14 2024, 04:05 PM) Transfer out is not a problem, but the limit nobody knows yet unless you can get confirmation from BeU. I will come back here in 12 months to update the withdrawal/transfer out process Currently there is no way to see or set the limit. It's still too early to try to transfer or test the limit since my term deposit is 10 more months to mature. If I were you I would try below 50k for the term deposit. Ha Ha. |

QUOTE(SydneyKL @ Oct 17 2024, 11:08 AM) This FD promotion can only get from the counter and they will issue you a certificate. Still the primitive method For RM 100k - 12 mths, you get RM 3,997.75. |

QUOTE(paramdav @ Oct 24 2024, 10:57 AM) Hi Bro, when I go to the Alliance Bank site, i cant see the 3.9 fd promo. I only see the board rate Looks like this 3.9% is only for their Cash-To-Catch promotion campaign. You need to open a Savings account with the mobile app during campaign period with the code "CATCH".Could you pls share the link for this 3.9% fd rate. Thanks alot You can only place ONE FD (maximum RM100k) with the 3.9% for 12 months. So, not a good promotion. Read no.6 to 9: https://www.alliancebank.com.my/Alliance/me...C-(Oct-Dec).pdf https://www.alliancebank.com.my/Promotions/...catch-promotion paramdav liked this post

Just opened 12 mths FD in Bank Mualamat today at 4.05% at the branch.
Can't view my FD online because I didn't open a Savings account. To register on-line account, need Debit Card. |

QUOTE(BWassup @ Nov 21 2024, 10:30 PM) Did you opt for monthly interest payment? Without internet banking, it is more cumbersome to withdraw the monthly interest. Didn't know can withdraw interest monthly. They also didn't ask me this option but I am also okay with getting a bigger amount at the end of the 12 mths 😀 |
