When u see the word "up to" at the interest rate section, it's not pure FD.

For this one, you need to put in at least 50k.

If less then 50k, I think it''s 3.10%

24 Months you can get 3.25%.

But funny. You cannot find the FD promo advertised except over here.

Does anybody have this issue. I found out RHB FD is like cheating customers. If your maturity date is today, you can't withdraw until tomorrow or you will lose all your interest. When tomorrow you withdraw, it will say you lost 1 day of interests! I don't have these kind of issues with other banks so far.

Probably can raise it BNM.

The part where it says you lose 1 day of interest, I'm guessing it's referring after renewal.

But from what I understand from the above lehleo, 3.00% only apply to maximum RM 20,000.00. Any remaining deposit balance more than RM 20,000.00 will get 0.3%.

I withdraw on the date of maturity few day ago online. No problem, got back full principal + int.

I think the bank clerk must be a new staff, you should complain to RHB branch manager immediately.

Matter of principle, not the amount. Banks will charge us if we miss any payments too

Some banks like HL, AMB credit principal early like in the morning of day of maturity. HSBC has a pariah practice of crediting the principal at night!
