I withdrew my RHB efd on maturity yesterday. I encountered problems at their new web site. I switch back to their old web site n withdrew it successfully. My first attempt on their new web site failed because my mobile did not received their OTP.

i just withdraw today from RHB. no issue.

need to active the secureplus.

Most if not all banks have already cut their fpx limit with Maybank still having fpx limit of 50k. A sign of the times. Now banks are hoping customers will turn up at their branches so that they could do their marketing.

Yes, their secureplus appeared on my mobile, but I pressed n pressed n pressed.. but the approve n reject screen did not appear.

I face the same issue today

Bank Rakyat still yet to have new promo?

To withdraw or transact amount > 10K, required secureplus. However, their own website secureplus functionality linkage to their mobile is not working. Been a while, at least close to a year. To transfer or withdraw FD amount > 10K, I use their mobile app.

Btw, I just realised from someone post (a few post earlier), there is a different website from RHB

The first one is what I have been using, but could not get the secureplus to send to mobile app previously. So I always use their mobile app to transact. I have not try to do this recently or the 2nd website link. The 2nd website look very similar to their mobile app.

Affin FD matured this week, went to Maluri branch and put for 6 months FD at 2.88% (Invika rate) Hopefully 6 months later, 12 months rate will be higher

Yes, RHB secureplus is useless and yet I complaint so many times to them and they just don't acnowledge there is a problem.lousy RHB app. Anything above rm10k I have to split the transaction to avoid secureplus

First website was the original online banking website however RHB try to "encourage" people to use their new online banking which is the second one website.
RHB mobile is probably based on the second website, thats why looks similar.

It's done online. This is not the first time, previously also like that. Or is because different instruments? FD vs Term Deposit? Or maybe Conventional vs Islamic?

Oh, i think i have been using the new website for some time. I remember old website got this "Uplift" function, i don't see it now. I think one issue now, the approval period of 30 seconds is too short. Sometimes mobile notifications takes a while, usually i barely made it with a few seconds left.

Yes, the secureplus thingy doesn't work, never works previously. Only recently the new website has been updated and their mobile app updated to make it finally works.

2nd one is their new website. They encourage ppl to transition there (more of a soft landing), got more functionality also

I did complain several times, somehow the call center like answer in a vague manner. Like no problem etc. Finally, I figure out that I can do transaction or FD withdrawal using the mobile app, which is integrate with the secureplus. Been doing so, since then if I need to transact/withdraw in amount > 10k

No new promo. I just checked by phone before making FD placement elsewhere just in case.
Wish I am wrong but feel they probably won't so soon after collected from their last FD promo.

But on the otherhand, Bank Muamalat already revised up their rates even before reaching their end date - probably competition from other bank promos make pretty certain target fund collection will not be achievable if remain at previous promo offer.

Just an expected guess on what the 2 banks probably need to do from info on start and end dates, and fund size.

I thought ambank is giving 3.2% for 1 year FD. Isn't that a better offer than bank muamalat,?
