QUOTE(VeeJay @ Oct 12 2016, 01:15 AM) Bro, this issue is not happening every night. As I said previously, it's happened once a week for me. The other forumer said it's happened every fortnight for him. My best guess is TM was doing some kind of maintenance routine. And it's only done in certain areas. This post has been edited by Max2006: Oct 12 2016, 01:25 AM |

Well, if they're doing it quiet at night, I guess no problem for me. |

QUOTE(Fantasia @ Oct 11 2016, 07:00 PM) guys, my unifi line is at my second floor. however my family find it inconvenient that they need to go to upstairs just to charge the cordless phone (yes, i know it's not very inconvenient actually but they just prefer have the phone downstairs). may i know is it possible to pull another phone line from the pole outside my house or i have no choice but to relocate everything from upstairs? i prefer the modem to stay upstairs cause it will be easier for me to access to Buy same model cordless phone, can use as charger. You can even connect both to same base so both can use up and down.. Can get at garage sales. |

The hypptv intermittent lag issue is back to square again..
this time is VOD issue, live stream no problem / very less It really make me speechless when the special technical team told me not to.. 1. use the extension plug this one, I dunno how to shoot him already.. 2. not to download thing while watching HyppTV / use wifi I thought vlan not same, so both got dedicated bandwidth, thus both of them will not interfere each other? HyppTV box uses LAN cable... and he insist want to come to my home to check... dunno check what, later suddenly charge me RM53 for on site support then how.. QUOTE(TheHitman47 @ Oct 11 2016, 11:28 PM) no, they just have the bill that stated the amount i need to pay. then u should check with 100, bill state everything including the calling history, no other place to see except bill.no outgoing call list. i wonder if can check online. QUOTE(VeeJay @ Oct 11 2016, 08:33 PM) nope, thats abnormal. do you have previous phoneline? normally double story houses would have a point each up and downstairs. If you do, you could reuse it. Else, get a splitter and run a cable from upstairs to downstairs QUOTE(vez @ Oct 11 2016, 10:52 PM) erm... landed? you dont have existing fixed line before apply UniFi? yes, i stay in landed property. i have still have my previous phone number but we only use it to receive call cause the new phone number from unifi package come with free call. what do u mean phone socket? i snapped a photo here for u to see what is mycurrent unifi setup. I remain my existing fixed line when i apply UniFi, now i have two phone number, one is existing from the pole, another one is UniFi VOIP. But using existing phone line will be charged my UniFi BTU is upstairs as well, but my landed house last time using 4 cores cable for phone line, i manage to make it from BTU phone socket <---phone cable---> my existing phone socket upstairs, connect the 2 spare cores <---> go down stairs open up socket and look for the 2 spare cores.... and connect with the phone, now my existing fixed line phone and UniFi VOIP is side by side down stairs only doable if your upstairs have phone socket, because house use to link up all phone socket so downstairs ring, upstairs also ring do u mean i need to change the thing i squared in red into the 1 with 4 ports? my current 1 has 3 ports. QUOTE(aneip @ Oct 12 2016, 04:10 PM) Buy same model cordless phone, can use as charger. You can even connect both to same base so both can use up and down.. Existing is A. A is connected to unifi BTU. B is not connected to anything. You just want to use as a charger. Instead you put A handset into B charger (base) you can configure B to connect to A base. So both can make/receive a call. |

I am still on VIP5. Anybody know any ways to get a free upgrade to 10mbps from TM?
Already past 2 year contract (ended in March) and also prompt payment via auto-debit since subscribing the service. |

Somehow they told me that the free upgrade is based on "selected customer" and they do not offer free upgrade automatically after contract expired. Too bad I am not their list even though prompt payment for past two years. |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Oct 13 2016, 10:38 AM) Call TM helpline and ask them the process of termination The package they offer to me two days after my contact expired is RM179 for 30Mbps with 600 minutes talk time, when I asked for free upgrade to 10Mbps and they only have 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps for me to choose.
