anyone can advise is there a limit to how many holes the installer will drill for unifi set up?
for my case the cable from the back needs to pass through back room -> store room -> living room. Will they drill all 3 holes as part of free installation? |

QUOTE(chicargo @ Oct 6 2016, 01:26 PM) anyone can advise is there a limit to how many holes the installer will drill for unifi set up? The free installation is only for the first 15 meters counting from the entrance of the first hole they need to drill for the Fiber cable to enter your housefor my case the cable from the back needs to pass through back room -> store room -> living room. Will they drill all 3 holes as part of free installation? You will be charged if the total Fiber cable they need to use exceed 15 meters If they are trying to charge you for less than 15 meters, call the TM helpline right away, file a report to TM helpline right infront of the installer stating their name, the phone number that they use to call you when they arrive at your home If they told you count 15 meters from the pole, that's a scam as well Ignore the installer even if they begged you not to file a report. Cancelling the report will only encourage them to make the same mistake to other customers TM Helpline - 100 |

Does anyone have experience of relocating UniFi line? I'll be moving to a new place soon which is just a neighbouring taman of my current place. I checked in UniFi coverage, this house is covered and with available port. The current tenants also told me, they don't have UniFi so their port should be still available.
I know I can call 100 to ask but I know you guys are faster than them. Thanks. |

As mentioned in TM official page, under number #16I know I can call 100 to ask but I know you guys are faster than them. Thanks. QUOTE 16. What if I need to relocate my UniFi service? Are there any charges that I need to pay? Relocation requests can be made at any TMpoint outlets and is subject to service availability. The relocation fee of RM300 shall be waived (for first time relocation). Or you can refer to response from other forumer in here, in summary: - relocation is free - go to TMPoint outlets and fill-up the form - you may be charged for additional wiring if needed in new place |

QUOTE(VeeJay @ Oct 6 2016, 10:57 AM) How is the page load when you are on LAN line? VeeJay, thank you for your replyTry downloading "wifi analyzer" on your phone and detect the best channel to use. Then test it again. This is my report when using LAN: ![]() Is bufferbloat 'C' normal? This is my speed report when using wifi: ![]() Bufferbloat can't be computed at all when on wifi. Also, when I run dslreport on my phone, it said, 'bufferbloat testing disabled due to high latency of 1353ms' Is my wifi router the problem here? Appreciate for your advice Thank you Regards, This post has been edited by emy_77: Oct 6 2016, 10:28 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 4 2016, 08:02 PM) Yes, please. I had given TM a hard time one year ago when I complained via MCMC. Action was taken very quickly and came out with a resolution. Complained to MCMC and lo behold. One day later they resolved the issue and notified me that I would get the overcharged money back in the next two billing cycles. Thank you fruitie and everyone else who advised me to complain to MCMC. |

Just want to update on my unifi problem. A technician came today, & he disabled my ipv6, & now, webpages load normally. He said ipv6 is not implemented well so far worldwide, so, it is not just TM problem. I guess as long as webpages load fast, I am satisfied
