A. Yes, if you release the brake and im
mediately press the gas, this is the case. It is always better not to press the gas immediately unless you have to (uphill), you will notive less delay. That it isn't superagressive at launch (if you would mean this by lag) is calibration, it isto preserve both engine and CVT. it is called torque reduction, the engines power delivery is minimized, although full trottle.
as punch representative reply,in simple term,when u r already in D,let the car crawl 1st on its own before apply throttle,unless the situation demand it.
if u are at neutral, engage to D a bit earlier, maybe half a second than normal at/torque converter cvt to let the clutch builds its pressure.
but dont expect the rpm will raise hand in hand with speed during stop n go situation cuz its clutch type cvt,n it does behave like manual trans.
low speed jerking will.be lesser overtime,but it wont completely gone.

CVT droning for me quite minimal.... x perasan pun, unless you floor the pedal like racing car. The way to drive CVT is to tekan your pedal until certain rpm, then just wait the car to gain speed gradually. do not force the CVT GB like conventional GB, it just make your FC even worse.

try switch on radio, goes to setting, and turn off TA aka Traffic Announcement.
No more alarm or any other warning from radio broadcast.

Unlock these clips first then pull in the direction of the arrow. Beware that at the left side of the cover there is overlapping plastic(cover's plastic is held in by the other plastic). Be gentle when doing this.

If the 2015 batch car TCU was flashed with 2014 CVT TCU firmware (as in my case), the CVT warning will be triggered due to different gearbox types. Most likely, it's not needed to change my secondary pulley sensor :-S I've attached the snapshot of his reply.
I'll go to sc again on coming Monday to verify that (still on business trip in Taiwan till Saturday). Will update you guys after my trip!
Lesson learnt here: Proton SC staffs are not well trained and it's always good to seek advice from expert! For those 2015 Iriz car owners, it's not needed to update TCU firmware!!!

Fixed the rattle coming from my third brake light. The housing somehow became loose and was rattling against the body. Use some adhesive foam tape. Bye bye rattle from the back

For those who are having some kind of rattling sound in the passenger airbag area can try to insert a sponge via the A pillar dash cover. Remove the cover 1st by using a screw driver wrapped with cloth and pry it out. Put your hand inside.
See the black wire? Use the left hand to trace the wire as far inside as possible. Dont pull it. I think this is reverse camera or rear wiper cable. You can try and wiggle the wires and it is hitting the the dashboard. I've insert a sponge and wedge it in between. It doesnt rattle now.

- Mostly appears during hard turns, especially U-turn. some other times, it will also appear, but seldom.
05. Glove box is not align properly after closed
- Popular issue, still not fixed since 1st service
06. Front passenger door closing sounds cheap, definitely it sounds different than the others
07. Driver's door is making noise
- Making noise when accelerator pedal is pushed. Not just only that, listen to music will also makes the door sing (any car vibration will make them sing basically)
08. Water leaks in from the top of the driver's door
09. Engine vibrates a lot
10. Rear passenger door (behind driver's seat) got knocking sound
- New Issue, HURRAY!
11. Spoiler is loose/shake, whatever you wanna call it
- Drive over uneven road surface, close the boot door, spoiler will make noise
12. Faulty reverse sensor
- When on reverse, it suddenly beep for nothing, seems that it only happens to the sensor on the right (looking from the screen). Sometimes the reverse camera just dont work even the butt is just 5CM away from the butt from the another car.
All these issues are not listed at the 1st post, I wonder how many people manage to fix all of these.
Long time ago, i heard someone fixed the noise after they sent in to do soundproofing for their Iriz?
Any ideas, and solutions, please share.................
