Guys, fuel smell inside cabin when fill up full tank. Is it normal?

guys, lets not forget Suprima S manual rumor/news/spyshot. it's been months/years already.

i wouldn't trust the display meter much to see my current fuel consumption.

my experience :

• Rawang (full tank) > Pasir Salak > Clearwater Sanctuary Resort, Batu Gajah > exit Simpang Pulai > Ulu Bernam RnR (refill)
• car with 4 person (3 + 2 actually because one of my friends kinda weighs 2 persons. sorry ya if you're reading this )
• each person took turn to drive, which includes over 4000 RPM pickup test
• got around 13km/l or 7.69l/100km when calculated manually.
• meter shows 8.6l/100km

my side mirror was hit by a motorbike, landed on road and got squashed by other car. :sad: iriz premium.

agree with fever003. check tyre pressure. mine was 250kph. so it bounces like mad. now better.

i'm driving 1.6 Premium. No regret. Although I hope there will be improvement for :

1. lousy headunit; need to turn off car if it hangs (uses old lousy android 2.3)
2. sound insulation
3. CVT jerkiness during traffic crawling speed
4. keyless entry; when going far from car it didnt lock, instead it will sound the horn
5. buzzer/alarm/sound when locking and unlocking.

well at least there should be an option for enable or disable sound like my persona elegance

it's a design flaw already not poor installation/workmanship when almost everyone complain about dashboard rattling

for me it's worth to buy.

regarding rev limiter, if you press your gas pedal during idle, you can only go maximum 4k RPM iianm.

didnt try to the limit though.

i dont know about others but my car didn't experience anything like power window or dashboard rattle. also, even though power window problem there's 10 years warranty for it.

test drive it first and see if it suits your taste e.g. the CVT jerking during low speed, CVT whine during high speed, no armrest, small speedometer, seat and dashboard positioning etc.

other than handling and safety, what i really like about Iriz is that there's lesser blind spot in front due to additional 'window' near the sidemirror.

it's a great car with with minor problems that they dont bother to address.

i blame the management for too many cost cutting measures.

the engineers themselves has done a great job for the car.

for my car, apart from my side mirror patah after run over by a motorcycle (which cost me about RM700 for replacement + workmanship + respray), i don't have problems mentioned by other forumers....

...except that lousy touchscreen HU which need to turn off car if it hangs.
