3800KM and a serious problem has surfaced. Driver side power window jammed and "krk krk" sound occured as if some plastic broke. Guess to CoE tomorrow then.

Since will be there here are some other issues to be highlighted;
2. Dashboard rattling at both ends near pillar,
3. Aircond not cold while stuck in jam or waiting with engine running
4. Aircond leak near foot both driver & passenger
5. Water droplet occasional in foot rest of driver
6. Exhaust/outside smell when aircond set to circulate
7. "Beep" sound from meter when going over uneven road at high speeds (uneven highway where can feel car 'jump')
8. Steering wheel vibrate (up down) at 100km/h
9. Radio 'hang' momentarily multiple times while in use with GPS
10. Middle Safety belt do not lock passenger in place when sudden braking
11. Sticky dashboard

Hi guys! Will be collecting my Silver Moondust 1.3MT Exec tomorrow evening. Just wondering, did you guys run in your car? I know some say you only do that in old days but, better safe than sorry right Is it ok to take the car for long distance drives before 1000km? Will be changing my rims to 15" RPF1 in Klang as well. Planning to drive down Ipoh this weekend!

Conti CC5, yup I know its been ard for long time, ard 400 plus after trade in those lousy Silverstone m3 that gt me into an accident recently. cc5 silent enuf and smooth ride, better dry n esp wetgrip IMO when compared to stock tyres. if u can afford certainly there will b better tyres than this. but for me this is good enuf value for money.

Hi guys long time no update as well

I sent my car for 1k service almost 2 months dy I think. So far the dashboard rattling problem seems to be solved for me. Only now the a-pillar covers are a bit loose so on bumpy/pothole roads it will knock then got sound. Plan to DIY fix that by sumbat some rubber tape there.

Then my door rattle somehow lessen by itself already. Nowadays don't really get any rattle noise from my car already, so i'm very happy with it lol.

The only thing is, my spoiled odometer parts that I ordered during 1st service until now the Setapak SC haven't call me back to update me or told me parts arrived already. and also my fluctuating radio volume I already got used to it, it's not that bad so I guess I wont be sending it to Penang to be "fixed"...

Currently just reached 3k km..

Hi just for info:

I traded in my stock tyre at RM80 each and change to the Michelin PS3 (RM250 - RM80=RM170 each) at the Michelin Centre at Old Klang Road.
The Michelin PS3 is superb in both dry and wet handling.  It is comfortable and not noisy.  I think is definitely a good ideal to change the stock tyre.
No point having all the nice safety feature like ESP/ABS if the tyre cannot grip?!

Can I know when you bought the Iriz?

guys..any of you know any rims that looks like the iriz r3 rims below..looks great!



the closest i can search is xxr 527 as below..but somehow it just doesnt looks as great as the r3

Just got back my 1.6 Premium from the service centre in PJ. Dashboard vibrations are still there, nothing fixed. Driver's door still vibrates when go over humps. Driver's door still got noise when the speaker kicks in.

This is the 4th time that I'm trying to fix all these rattling issue.

I guess there is no solution for this. If it does, the solution to this would have been pinned.

Im so disappointed and starting to lost hope on my car already.

Worse come to worst, any Proton service in selangor or KL area really knows how to fix this? Or any 3rd party can fix dashboard issue?

btw, u have any idea whether the enkei sc22 on the r3 iriz is 14 or 15 inch?

Iriz 1.3 MT Exec, I want to change the tires to 185/14 from standard 175. Anyone know where can change and trade in?
Now already close to 2k km.

Also what is the max speed you can get when you floor the accelerator? Specs said 175km/max.

Anyone solved their rear thunk sound when going over bumps? And rattle noise. Oh my. Lol. I resorted to putting cards in between dashboard and windshield.

I haven't go sc yet.  Quite busy

Check whether you tied in the tray rope to the rear body or not..
If you let loose the rope..it will knock against the rear bonet body when you go to road bumps

when it does, we had alot work to do. Might as well learn how to dismantle dashboard radio etc. & doors
