my Iriz had about this type of problem, but on the right-rear door after few days of ownership. the door ajar and triggered the door ajar signal during a not so high speed cornering. went back to SC and they changed the locking mechanism.

my previous saga FLX had this boot problem. i just slam shut the boonet to prevent it from opening. never went to sc to check.

3. Loud roar when i start the engine.

I went up Genting during the weekends. This is the first time I've felt the damn M3's slipping. After some of the steep sharp hill bends uphill, dash keep showing TC kicking in. There was once when the rear did slide off and ESC immediately kicked in. Downhill was better except there was once I was overtaking a bus on a short straight, the tyre was slipping as soon as it went on those yellow lines before the humps. Really can feel the car sliding. Note that both road conditions were wet. When I reached lower ground, I decided to chase a A250 to see how the car can manage the roads. Managed to keep up until it started to rain which is when I slowed down and moved to the left lane.

I wonder, how much improvement would tyre grooving give me and how much does it cost?

My iriz couldn't start today. The side mirrors wouldn't fold when I press lock. I tried using the start button.. No response. I think the battery might have died. 12500km currently. Need to call proton we care...

I also have this sound. I normally use Petronas 95, the sound is quite loud with windows down.

The other day, I tried Shell 97(green colour), the sound reduced.

So I am wondering, is it confirmed that the type of petrol is causing this soudn?

If yes, for those who do not experience this, what petrol do you use?

Though I do constantly get those skidding due to the stock tires...
