QUOTE(JohnC4796 @ Dec 18 2015, 10:29 AM) 5. So far I only managed to get 9.2L/100kM in my 1.6MT, is that consider reasonable given I drive at more or less constant speed about 90-110km/hr on the north south highway. Doesnt sound normal for highway drive. That kind of speed should at least get less than 8. Well from my experience wit 1.6cvt.Thank you in advance for your advice!! Any1 else face this prob where boot can open by itself when driving / right after unlocking the car? Not open completely, just open enough to trigger door symbol on dashboard.

QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Dec 30 2015, 01:31 PM) 1.6 execQUOTE(mmmm4 @ Dec 30 2015, 02:07 PM) my Iriz had about this type of problem, but on the right-rear door after few days of ownership. the door ajar and triggered the door ajar signal during a not so high speed cornering. went back to SC and they changed the locking mechanism. Slam and dont slam got difference? I thought when it's shut, means it's shut d.my previous saga FLX had this boot problem. i just slam shut the boonet to prevent it from opening. never went to sc to check. |

Just now when starting the car, a "low battery" symbol appeared on the info screen. My car is only about 1 year, so fast low battery?

QUOTE(yadea @ Jan 18 2016, 12:41 PM) I went up Genting during the weekends. This is the first time I've felt the damn M3's slipping. After some of the steep sharp hill bends uphill, dash keep showing TC kicking in. There was once when the rear did slide off and ESC immediately kicked in. Downhill was better except there was once I was overtaking a bus on a short straight, the tyre was slipping as soon as it went on those yellow lines before the humps. Really can feel the car sliding. Note that both road conditions were wet. When I reached lower ground, I decided to chase a A250 to see how the car can manage the roads. Managed to keep up until it started to rain which is when I slowed down and moved to the left lane. My stock tyre is M5.I wonder, how much improvement would tyre grooving give me and how much does it cost? I went genting b4, 1 corner i went too deep into the sandy part of the road, got tyre screetch sound but all was in control. No ESC light tho. Another time, I did a u-turn with speed. Tyre screetch for few secs throughout the u-turn. All was in control and again no ESC light. I guess the car wasnt sliding away so it didnt trigger ESC/TC. Will changing to aftermarket battery like Century, void other parts' warranty?
Battery got 1 year warranty so if battery weak (not dead yet), can claim new battery? Sounds silly but... |

QUOTE(fever003 @ Mar 4 2016, 09:55 AM) I also have this sound. I normally use Petronas 95, the sound is quite loud with windows down. Supposed to pump 97 today but forgotten and pumped 95 again The other day, I tried Shell 97(green colour), the sound reduced. So I am wondering, is it confirmed that the type of petrol is causing this soudn? If yes, for those who do not experience this, what petrol do you use? QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Mar 8 2016, 09:38 AM) Sounds good tho |
