I got to know Vincent via the New Persona Car Club thread where he simply offer me the best deal which I cannot say no. I dropped him a PM and the rest was in WhatsApp. I tried to make an appointment with him but he is going for a long holiday. Just want to share my experience dealing with Vincent geting my brand new Iriz Premium.

My fiancee and I were looking for our first car and decide to get a Proton Iriz. I browsed through LYN tradezone, asking for best offers in all Proton threads and Vincent gave me the best discount offers  

so as a first time buyer I was really nervous but Vincent guided through every process. He explained everything straightforward. No bullshit, no putar here and there. Loan deals sorted pretty quickly and we managed to get pretty good rates from the bank.

when we collect the car, he guide us and make sure we inspect everything. there was a scratch at the front grille and he highlighted it earlier and make sure we'll get replacement part later. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the car condition. car is kept in the basement too which is great.

Overall, I'm very satisfied dealing with him and it was a very good experience especially for a first time car buyer. Definitely recommended to get Proton car from him and I'll definitely go for him if i'm getting another Proton in the future.

Got my Persona CVT Standard about a month ago. did my 1st service 2 weeks ago. 

Found out about him on the forums here. then sent him a PM on Monday morning for a test drive.
He was actually off that Monday and Tue. When i told him i wanted to settle the car quickly, he adjusted his schedule to meet me on same Monday evening.
Did a test drive, discovered he is quite knowledgable and experienced, and patiently answer/advice indecisive customers over the phone . Willing to teach and answer some n00b questions
After that, did some discussion, listened to his advice and views. Decided on the spot to purchase the car. Straight to the point a deposit is required (no other bullshit or pushing you to buy higher specs) which i like. he also clearly explain on what happens to the deposit placed if forfeit or proceed.
He helped me settle pretty much all the stuffs e.g. road tax, car plate, applying loan.
The next time i met him is taking the new car dy. all are actually done in a week.

In short:
- friendly with professional attitude
- knowledgable and experienced

I received my 1.3 Cvt Executive yesterday.

Frankly speaking, the feels of the car is really solid. The jerking is there but its barely notice-able and it'd quite bearable but the lag is quite frustrating sometimes.

It's my first own car so i barely had any idea what to do when i collected my car, @vincent818 was kind enough to show what to check and tell me the things i need to know.

I thought he was this serious kind of guy but he's actually fun to be around with, haha. He would answer all your questions, even the silly ones and pretty transparent with everything.

August 28th 2015: Just collected my Exora from Vincent on the day before Bersih 4.0 rally. Total time between negotiations and getting the car is within 2 weeks. The car was kept in tip top condition. Everything comes in stock (he didn't tamper with anything on the car).

Trustable and easy to deal dealer. No nonsense and straight forward. He will advice you when you ask, not like typical salesman that recommend me a different car so that he can meet his quota.

I will definitely buy future Proton cars if I am getting another one. Already recommended some of my friends about him.

So far car has clocked more than 200KM without any rattle noises / steering tilt to the left issue.

Gotten my Exora Premium last week from Vincent and gone through a very smooth transaction. All started with LYN message, then Whatsapp and meet him only once before taking the car. For me as working in IT that I can't travel around / meet him to understand more, all the communication was very helpful.

Vincent able to provide all information and process (as I gone for inter-car number plate transfer) clearly, for me to able to carry out some of the task by myself and gotten the car less than 2 weeks.

On the day getting the car, Vincent assist throughout the car inspection and explain everything on the car features. The car is still wrap up and put under the basement of the showroom.

Gotten my Proton Iriz 1.3CVT Silver Moondust from Vincent today. There is not a single hitch dealing with Vincent, plenty of good experiences, totally no regrets in trusting Vincent to get my first, new vehicle.

How it all happened.
1. Booked my car on 12th October 2014. Went to Vincent' showroom (near LRT Taman Paramount), signed the papers and paid booking on the spot. Understood from Vincent the tentative delivery was end of November/early December.
2. Vincent submitted my loan application and within days it was approved.
3. The waiting starts. On and off I've spoke to Vincent of converting my booking to a Prevé instead if the waiting is too long, and he is open to that idea.
4. Followed up during middle of November - He was having a vacation, but still replied me when he woke up. He followed up with Proton for me - Still no stock and it appears the Iriz will start production during December.
5. Middle of December - Vincent told me stock arrival was still pending. I've double checked with Proton and indeed this is the case - Production starts during the final week of December.
6. End of December - Vincent updated me with good news. Iriz 1.3CVT finally is delivering, asked if I prefer a 2014 or 2015 model. I requested for 2015, as Vincent did advise it likely will reach before CNY.
7. Middle January. Was told my car is ready. Proceed with finalising loan application, which was done that night itself. Downpayment was completed 3 days after.
8. A week later, car arrived at Vincent's warehouse. Scheduled pickup during a Saturday.
9. Gotten word from Proton that they are getting released Iriz 1.3CVT held up for checks - Spoke to Vincent and he respected my decision to hold on the Saturday collection date until this is sorted out.
10. Saturday (24 Jan 2015) - Gotten news from Vincent that Proton given thumbs up for me to collect car.
11. Sunday (25 Jan 2015) - Driven my car out from the warehouse. All that I had requested was provided to me, with some extra (of course within reasonable expectations lah).
A few noteworthy points about Vincent:
1. This guy gives some of the best deal in town. I know, because I had been scouting high and low.
2. Honesty. I value this a lot. If he does not know, he does not know. If something happened, he will tell you and let you know your choices. He is not the type to beat around the bush and end up not delivering.
3. Follow up. One of the best follow ups I've ever had from a sales agent. If not for his persistent follow up I might still be waiting for my car now, though it is understandable that the long wait is from Proton's end. Given me a few niceties for keeping me waiting for long - Small gesture, but I think that is very nice.
4. Reliable. I was a total fool today, first car and all, so I told him I did not know what I should be checking. Vincent guided me step by step through what should I watch out for, from the chassis to the engine to the fluids to the little buttons and sticks all inside the car, and the next point is in particular very important to me - Without being anywhere near cynical or judgmental - A huge plus on my books. I could had been a tool, and from my experience most other agents will just ask me to sign the papers and get over it. But no, Vincent did not do that, never once requested me to sign the delivery order before walking through the entire vehicle with me, and I am very pleased.
5. Accommodating. In terms of time, discounts/gifts, and additional requests (paiseh Vincent... My girlfriend is scared of the sun. Later need to get my car tinted ASAP otherwise she'll go find another boyfriend LOL), all went well with him. I try not to make unreasonable requests, and he had been very accommodating with my requests while being frank enough to tell me what is possible and what places him in a difficult situation as a sales agent, which I do understand (we are all out there just to make a living).
Thumbs up to you, Vincent, for making my purchase a pleasure.
Will strongly recommend you to my friends, and I will be back when eventually I will be looking for an upgrade.

Got my Iriz 1.6CVT Premium from my SA , Vincent last weekend. Good rebates and fast service!! any potential buyer could find him for good deal.

For me, the road and wind noise is well insulated. but the transmission and engine sound could still be heard within the cabin.

hello all, just giving my personal (really in-depth) review on vince/vincent's service as a sales' advisor (SA).

i'd like to apologise in advance if this is too long for some, but others may find it helpful especially those shopping on a SA for their new car.

like all those who were lead to this thread, most probably you're questioning a sales' advisor integrity in doing their job.

here's an honest review of him (in point-form, but still long):

Introduction:
- i found vince through online research (god bless google)
- i came across fantastic testimonials from past clients in a proton 'DIY/current issues' thread, raving about his services
- i called him up, and ask for discounts + free gifts (like any malaysian would do, muka tak malu la -.-)
- i was actually attended by another proton SA from a different branch (main branch some more), but forfeited due to dissatisfaction
- i told vince the forfeit, thus i believe he knew what he was getting himself into with a customer like me.
- i was skeptical as he confirmed on current festive rebate + a little more discount + free gifts via a phone call
- i told him when i wanted to meet him, and so i did.

Personality:
- i eventually met vince, and he is naturally a neutral person (not arrogant, and thankfully not 'overly' nice)
- the above is important to me, as i prefer these type of people when dealing. yes, i am particularly particular.
- this is in the end a business between a client and a salesman (not a long lost friend you used to play congkak by a longkang with)
- his general disposition is: a mixture of laid-back, calm, and sincere. a good mixture.
- his interaction with a customer: straight to the point, but with attention to tone and 'budi bahasa'.

Knowledge:
- his overall knowledge on the enquired car: 4.7 out of 5 (if he does not know, he will promptly find the answer for you)
- he does not over-sell the brand name or their cars, he knows you are not an idiot. he will tell you exactly what you enquired about.
- he will entertain your enquiry on other cars and discounts (but i already knew what i wanted, but i asked on behalf of my friends and cousin)
- after-sales enquiries after i received my car was answered promptly as well.
- he taught me how to connect and take care of my free yes 4G huddle (even though it was not his job, this was excellent)
- during my vehicle's inspection, he gave me room to inspect the condition - only then proceeded with a thorough vehicle checklist
- maintenance tips and tricks for my car + do's and don't were also attended carefully, with asking me further if i had 'any other questions' (which of course i did la)

Negotiations:
- straight-up, you will be asked for the expected deposit fee (this may vary depending on client, but i assume this is a must. i don't mind.)
- the deposit fee will be released back to you if forfeited, or if continued, will be placed as part of your deposit.
- i did not fully press in negotiations, i know when to draw the line. but he is accommodating when in negotiations.
- his cash discount is acceptable. i did my research, he is one of the very few SA that gave over-the-average range in discounts.
- due to his discount promise, his free gifts were only average when offered.
- i didn't take the free gifts, i aimed for rebates.
- i averaged out the cost of the free gifts when declining the offer to boost my discount/rebates - and his replacement offer was acceptable.
- keep in mind, salesmen and clients have to be rational and fair. offers in negotiation will vary, but we should all know our limits.

Communication Methods:
- phone calls, whatsapp, sms, email.
- his willingness to answer calls: 4.5 out of 5 (keep in mind, he travels via a motorcycle - sekali angkat call, habis la. dangerous. so i understand.)
- he is not the 24/7 call-me-all-you-want type, he is ready to communicate at the appropriate 'office' time. he is human after all. we all have families to come home to.
- he has attended to my questions at night, and if unanswered - there will be a reply via whatsapp in the morning. (one time he answered me at 6am)
- preferred mode of talking to him: primarily, phone calls. secondary, whatsapp.
- i came across a time when i couldn't contact him, i contacted his branch, and then afterwards in 3 minutes he called back.

Arrival of Vehicle:
- the cars are kept in the basement, clean and safe
- the plastics for the upholstery were not tempered with
- no 'pre-driven' mileage indicated, the car was not taken for a joy-ride
- i believe they even had the car pre-washed before you collect it
- vincent called me the moment the car arrived, but i couldn't take it because i had to attend the super mokh musical -.-
- overall 5 out of 5 on arrival of vehicle

Personal Notes:

i want to tell you that i only received my car after nearing 2 months, and before all of you terkejut berok - there are reasons. the reason(s) is due to my personal decision to fully test out offers by several banks, and that took a lot of time. the time was wasted primarily on obtaining a guarantor, reviewing offers, waiting for counter-offers, and testing a far-out bank like kuwait finance house (which had ridiculous terms to their offered loan). other reasons were simply because of luck - sudden lack of cash for down payment, waiting for my salary to bank in at the end of the month, and sadly - proton's slow assembly on my specific model during the festive rebate. during the 2 months period, there was a time vincent informed me he will be away overseas - but it was handled nicely by his own manager and administrative staff whom were very helpful. this is an important note, because clients need support from the dealer/branch - and to see them handle my case - was comforting. on top of that, during the pick-up of my car, vincent apologised for his time away (he didn't have to) and slipped-in the free gifts i declined during negotiations, which was not necessary, but thoughtful. i believe the overall time of obtaining the car is around 1 to 2 weeks if i wasn't gatal tangan to test out the banks.

Firstly I would like to thanks to Vincent for getting my Exora few days back. Really appreciate your quick delivery and patience. Over the weekend me and family enjoying the ride a lot 
I would say I’m happy to have dealt with Vincent. Frankly to say, few other salesman I met previously not as good as him in offering good service.

Secondly, believe me it is hard to find salesman who given great discount and so lots of freebies more than other salesman. 

Thirdly, he is a honest and pleasant salesman, patient with my lots of questions and most important he delivers what he promised. Even his manager and colleagues were friendly as well. The process of getting the car is surprisingly fast upon the loan approved. During the day of signed on loan agreement, Vincent was not around but his manager offer me to take the car on the same day……Woooowwww !!! However I refuse to take it and wait until Vincent available because I’m not so urgently to collect the car at that time.
Why I said he is a dedicated salesman? It is because during the day of collecting the car he was not feeling well but still able to served me very well. Really appreciated it.

Just got my X70 last week from Vincent at KL.
After reading this thread back in 2014, i wanted to buy Preve from him, but because of logistic issue (I stayed in PG, i ended getting my car from another SA in PG.
6 years down, when i decided to make another purchase (Yes Proton Again!!), I know he is the right SA.
When you look for SA, look for one who is honest, doesn't beat around the bush and is not only interested in closing sales.
He was willing to help and gave great advice even in the end i didn't buy from him back in 2014, and now even after i have collected the car, his after sales service is really Top!!
Initially i thought i was going to get my car in November, but i believe his close follow up somehow we got the car 2 months ahead....
The experience of going down to KL to collect my car was great, his great details explanation ensures you leave the car with all the necessary information needed. Even now after collecting the car, i had issues with Proton Link which he helped to resolved and constantly check with me if there is any issue....

I should stop now, else you would think i am paid by him to shower praises but i am doing this out of gratitude and also wanting to share my experience with those who are looking for a reliable SA.

recommended & honest seller for Preve CFE... i contacted him since Jun 2013 till now but i still buzz him always for the status but i not pushing him for fast car delivery... hence i requested him to handle my old car ownership transfer after the sales, and seem very good in response to me and keen to help me (of cos no free lah)...

Also he tried to advise me to save some money by doing some simple ownership transfer by my efforts rather than let his runners to earn the money, but of cos lack of information and facing the difficulties during the transfer procedures and almost can't settle in the same day...

my previous SA confirmed all the issues rectified (example power window bulging issues) confidentially and it is shame for him to sell a problematic car, but i found out one of his buyer facing the bulging issues too (1-2weeks after) and i asked SA to ensure the bulging issues are solved and call me back later as he pushing me to buy car from him (to hit his sales target as believe ... but he no getting back after that...

but overall good service provided if compare to other SA...

3. and question here, when u turn off your engine, the side mirror will automatically flip back right? but when i turn on my engine and start the ride, is it compulsory i need to press to flip on the side window or can it be set automatically?
