I can't even get 30Mbps on wireless, using Asus RT-N12HP.

Initially only managed to get 18Mbps at best, but after tweaking by changing the 2.4GHz channel to a less congested one, it improves to 23Mbps at best!

Nothing wrong with TM UniFi in this case, but since I stay in a high-rise and wireless access points from neighbors are transmitting in all directions, there is nothing much I could do to further improve the wireless.

I have resorted to use cable (when it's possible to connect directly) or otherwise using HomePlug. In both cases, 30Mbps can be achieved!

Have you tried the 5Ghz band?

I did a testing and unplugged my Xiaomi nano router, 100% on TM router. Achieved the same speed as my Xiaomi router. laugh.gif
The only thing is it is not that strong when I was about 25m away. laugh.gif So I switched back. laugh.gif

2.4Ghz is really congested on most high rise. Always get a dual band router if possible. They are getting cheaper nowadays.

after 1 week i logged a case with tm..they just closed the case...what the heck... my previous package was vip10..upgraded to 30Mbps...funny thing is my upload speed already reduced to 5Mbps but my download speed still 10Mbps...1 week they did nothing and today just call me to test and straight away close the case...

I had the same issue as yours, called 100, reset port, connection, reboot all didn't work UNTIL you re setup your connection using wizard in the router.

That's what the TM tech came to my house and do. Nothing else.

BTW, I was on all TM provided equipment.

I dont know about high rise building but i used to get around 20 to 23 mbps when using my stock router. They insist not to change new one even though i upgraded from VIP5 to VIP10. The router has been with me for at least 3 to 5 years.

Oh btw i got 30mbps when connecting wired.

Anyway i change a new ASUS router and I am getting constant 30mbps via wifi.

I am. No complaint already. Apps Store issue is solved. Facebook newsfeed issue is solved. biggrin.gif
And now it suddenly gives me 10Mbps of upload. blush.gif
Even my foreigner friend is so happy with 30Mbps as well. biggrin.gif

I have been using since it was introduced in July and earlier some complaints for the Apps Store and FB. The speed is stable all this while for me. Hardly drops below 30Mbps.

U see PAGE 2 in this link: https://www.tm.com.my/allnewunifi/Pages/faq...ml#UniFiADVANCE

Q: I need higher upload speed. Do you have any packages that can suit that requirement?
A: TM will continue to further improve the UniFi packages offering. We will announce when the packages are ready to be offered to the mass market at the appropriate time later.

Most likely on their server side, there's a chance they will test new equipment at customer end. Why would they charge you for equipment not fully optimized for customer?
