Hi All Just found this forum. Upgraded from streamyx 1mb to Unifi 30mbps. So far so good except that the installer mentioned that the router is a earlier model and cannot use for wireless hypp tv. I had to use my own homeplug. He mentioned alternatively i can wired Lan. He said the newer router better for wireless hypp tv but wifi is poor if the doors are closed. Also he setup 2 wifi id. One for normal data usage and one for hypp tv. Is it normal? Just wondering I am getting the latest product. I also prefer to have a single router modem. Is a good idea to get one? Last 2 days getting 30mbps for upload and max of 5 to 6 for upload. I live in the 7th floor.
Not sure want to.complain about the older version of the modem and the iptv cannot coonect via wireless just 6 feet away.

The Motorola deck phone doesnt last more than a day on standy if not plugged to power. Is it normal? Thanks

Anyone have tested both old router with dual antenna and the new one without antenna? Any difference in performance?
Also when speed test using samsung note, if near the router the get 30 but just 3 2 meter way.getting 15 only. But with laptop same 30.

My internet is going down often last 2 days...have to switch on and off the modem and router then back to normal. Any idea why?..thanks
