Can I call TM instead? Or have to go to TM Point?

Must be TM Point.

Managed to apply for my foreigner friend 30Mbps using my previous UniFi installer. RM 179 with Aneka package and free one month. Then no need to pay RM 500 deposit for foreigners. thumbup.gif

Today my own 30Mbps is crazy, upload speed is consistently more than 10Mbps. thumbup.gif

God damn, I can't stop laughing when some people mention that the latest model of router had no antenna. How the fuck does a wifi router function if it doesn't have fucking antenna.  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

How did u manage to get the 1-month free subscription? I was told no more such offer.
*
Yes, only through this installer, a Unifi agent. Damn efficient, I also applied mine through them last year and they gave me without asking.

This time, they didn't say anything about this but I simply asked, who knows they agreed to give. laugh.gif With condition pay first and they will reimburse to account.

Based on my own experience, it only took 2-3 days to be reimbursed back to my bank account. biggrin.gif

A glitch? I just came back from hometown today. Last tested on Saturday's morning was still the normal 5Mbps.

U look very satisfied with ur 30Mbps connection...I am still thinking whether to upgrade to 30MBPs since a lot of users complain is not stable...
*
I am. No complaint already. Apps Store issue is solved. Facebook newsfeed issue is solved. biggrin.gif
And now it suddenly gives me 10Mbps of upload. blush.gif
Even my foreigner friend is so happy with 30Mbps as well. biggrin.gif

I have been using since it was introduced in July and earlier some complaints for the Apps Store and FB. The speed is stable all this while for me. Hardly drops below 30Mbps.

Placebo effect is real here.

The network is still the same. laugh.gif

I see a lot of users are unable to achieve full 30Mbps on wireless unlike they can achieve full 10Mbps previously. You can blame the TM router for that. smile.gif
*
I did a testing and unplugged my Xiaomi nano router, 100% on TM router. Achieved the same speed as my Xiaomi router. laugh.gif
The only thing is it is not that strong when I was about 25m away. laugh.gif So I switched back. laugh.gif

I can't even get 30Mbps on wireless, using Asus RT-N12HP.

Initially only managed to get 18Mbps at best, but after tweaking by changing the 2.4GHz channel to a less congested one, it improves to 23Mbps at best!

Nothing wrong with TM UniFi in this case, but since I stay in a high-rise and wireless access points from neighbors are transmitting in all directions, there is nothing much I could do to further improve the wireless.

I have resorted to use cable (when it's possible to connect directly) or otherwise using HomePlug. In both cases, 30Mbps can be achieved!
*
My friend who is staying at 19th floor gets 33Mbps on TM router.

after 1 week i logged a case with tm..they just closed the case...what the heck... my previous package was vip10..upgraded to 30Mbps...funny thing is my upload speed already reduced to 5Mbps but my download speed still 10Mbps...1 week they did nothing and today just call me to test and straight away close the case...
*
I faced this case when I upgraded from VIP 5 to VIP 10, only my upload speed was increased to 10Mbps but download speed still 5Mbps.

At the end complained and I demanded to open a case for technician to come and check at outside of my house. The next two days, a technician came and fixed for me. I managed to raise another dispute for discounts for the no. of days I didn't enjoy my speed. laugh.gif

Local server also 12ms?
Guaranteed QoS for each port upload speed is only about 19M with 1:64 splitter configuration.

Er. My phone captures 6ms. smile.gif

is it last time you were on vip10?
*
I was already on 30Mbps since July and all this while upload speed only 5Mpbs until last Saturday then I went back hometown. Yesterday came back already more than 10Mbps. biggrin.gif

I was on VIP 10 but I don't think that matters because I have been with 5Mbps upload speed all this while. laugh.gif

how
*
I didn't do anything. I went back to hometown on Saturday and it was still 5Mbps for upload.
I only came back on Monday's evening after work, noticed the upload speed has been increased. biggrin.gif

I have a feeling it's just for temporary.

for those that received a letter from tm regarding upgrade, has tm contacted you?

just wondering how's the progress.
*
Nobody contacted me yet but I did receive the letter.

Coincidentally my upload speed has mysteriously increased to 10Mbps since I came back on Monday.

I'm a 30Mbps user.

maybe they secretly give upload boost to selected users for being loyal  flex.gif....not all users experience this just a few..so u guys very lucky.
*
laugh.gif No no. Will not complain. tongue.gif
I only started using since last year's April, not that loyal yet.

So far, only me and MyPIA, who else?

1mbps jumped to 30mbps is huge. I'm still excited, now i dunno what to download anymore.  biggrin.gif

btw, i can see that a lot of channels available in my hypptv with astro sports HD. i signed up for basic only. this is only temp promotion to new users or it's available in basic package?
*
For first month, you can view all channels.

At least for my foreigner friend as well, I signed up for her Aneka package because she doesn't need HyppTV. laugh.gif
