QUOTE(luqman98x @ Jan 19 2016, 11:27 PM) Thank you. This helped a lot QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jan 20 2016, 09:38 AM) Yes. Any difference ? The upgrade was done through their system without notifying of any certain change of equipment required. I only received email stated "*Please restart your modem after 24-hour from receiving this email to enjoy new speed*"

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jan 20 2016, 05:08 PM) My UniFi was installed back in Dec 2011 and the Huawei HG850a BTU is still going strong. In fact when TM came last month to check on my HyppTV problem, they replaced the STB and also offered to replace the BTU but I declined. Don't fix what ain't broke. Just curious, was it because your hypptv stb still in warranty that they came to replace?

Actually hardware specs wise, the DIR-615 is capable enough. I'm using it but it's flashed with DD-WRT though.

Has anyone received a letter form TM, pertaining to Unifi Improvement Programme?
Basically, TM technician will come over to your house and replace the power adaptor for the Broadband Termination Unit (BTU). Supposedly, it is free of charge.
Question is, what's with the BTU power adaptor, faulty (?!)

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 14 2016, 09:23 AM) Already expected when TM started to give upgrade to certain users earlier and now more users are getting it, so it is the standard. Well, I just realized that I actually have 10Mbps upload speed now too!

However, my sister raised a good point about this, she said knowing how Malaysia works, they will not be so nice to purposely deliver and arrange a new adapter to you if the current one has no issue. Hearing her words, I takut already... QUOTE(jolmy @ Jan 20 2016, 11:53 PM) Well, I just realized that I actually have 10Mbps upload speed now too! Better late than never.
