Why is it hard to boil own water when need it? For parents with kids, just use vacuum flask. I stop using the Thermo pots and my electric usage drop RM 10 per month.

Cold water, just add ice or put water in fridge.

Those instant things is waste of electric. For those don't mind ok lah.

Thermo pot are a waste of money; the newer hot water dispensers can dispense boiling hot water under 3 seconds. We currently use this and save a lot on electricity.

Thermo pots are switched on for 24 hours in certain homes and constantly keep the water warm; which is why its a waste.

My current setup is undersink filter and hot water dispenser separately; cold water store in fridge.

A good vacuum flask can last 2-3 days with 1 boil, or just cook it when you need it also take less then 5 minutes.
Cold water just keep in a wine bottle, or go Daiso to get a better looking glass bottle, put in fridge already enough.

I don't really get why so many people looking for water filter with water dispenser, waste of money & not environmental friendly. Water filters are meant to remove contaminants, that's it.

Did you try measure what temperature hot water you get? I think is somewhere 85c at most.

Tested few instant hot water dispenser, the water just not hot for me. (I drink Chinese tea) some tea can taste different if water not hot enough. Green tea still ok. But not the Chinese tea.

Yes, sometime I skip a day to boil and refill the flask. Still good enough to prepare milk.

Same setup with me, undersink filter and instant hot water dispenser separately.
Very convenient for me and family to make hot drinks.
Most important is water is not reboil.

Those with water dispenser is different from instant boil, water dispenser will keep reboil when the temperature drop.
Instant water boiler only boil when you press the button and ready to use around 3-5 secs.

so far it still functioning very well and it only serve normal, warm, hot, hotter, hottest water... no need self mix (aka old method)

for cold water i just use weikee method... or using ice cube i put into the fridge using filter water....

aquaphor water flow rate definitely is better than mine based on video shown by zheilwane bro on youtube... coz my incoming water pressure is not high so the water flow out from filter is slow also... for 2 liter need about 3-4 minute (if directly drawing)...

so for those who buying new water filter need consider the water flow rate also beside all those certification etc...

Zheilwane, any promo coming up for Aquaphor Crystal Eco cartridges, say during Merdeka Day timeframe?

Also, I read someone traded in their old cartridges...is there some kind of rebate? Need to bring the old cartridges in?

Any filter lah. Thinking of connecting the pipe to tangki instead of direct from meter. Kitchen pipe normally direct from meter.

yes, lots of things not explain the in the catalog. I bliv many of you purchase things and hoping it to be that good but end up not upto expectation.

Similarly, there are customers who bought expensive filters but within 5 - 6 months clog and require replacement regularly, low flow rate and etc etc
