QUOTE(westlife @ May 12 2017, 07:40 AM) I think this brand of 3-Sec thermos flask is not bad. But no more in stock. this one is previously i looked for... but this one need to manually pour the water in and the button will fail very fast as per online review...I am using their storage heater too which I bought 3 years ago. Very good and energy saving because it is using dc power. Out of stock model. Mine is Single tank 60 litres. [attachmentid=8809483] for me i get the direct water heater (3 sec also) from taobao... after get this i see other old heater with tank is so old tech and obsolete... dunno why malaysia dont have it.... https://world.taobao.com/item/42792441126.htm?fromSite=main Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(zheilwane @ May 15 2017, 11:29 AM) wow, thatz cheap. But seems complicated, lots of button to press and how to estimate how many ml we need small cup is 150ml, my glass is 230ml, 300ml if you want more water like refill in water bottle... the bottom compartment can remove to refill tall water bottle...only 4 button, first one is safety lock for 45 70 85 and 100 degree water, 25 degree no need press this unlock button second button is change temperature, again is 25 45 70 85 100 degree can change third button is produce water, when producing water you can press this button anytime to stop the water.... fourth button is change water quantity to be produce... 150ml 230ml 300ml, it will produce this amount of water then stop automatically, other dispenser you need to press and hold like siao, actually i like this more all button is glass touch sensitive button, not physical button like seers tend to broken after some times i think this heating method is like those nespresso coffee machine... the sound also same, just this one cannot put the capsule the con of this is no continuous pour (i think is because this instance heater the fresh water storage only 1 liter tank, after draw some water you need wait the main filter to refill automatically back the machine)... for cooking and other water still use the direct outlet at countertop... this one need wall mounted as it cannot stand on itself coz is only about 10cm thick... |

QUOTE(oyching88 @ May 16 2017, 06:09 PM) The base is to avoid the eSpring get water soak and turned yellowish, not nice looking. Sometimes when we wash hand or plates the water splash we didn't clean it. It's up to individual preference though. I have customers which want to retain the plastic as well, it looks like brand new even after years. Agreed the base is look ugly but I seen in my other friend house also do the same thing![]() |

QUOTE(cboys00 @ Jun 22 2017, 10:24 AM) what is instant hot water system from google, coway is using this sytem, how about cuckoo, 3m, others brand... how to know it using instant hot water system QUOTE(zheilwane @ Jun 22 2017, 10:46 AM) instant is smaller, dont think coway is using instant. u can c previous posting, got a forumer post his instant dispenser photo QUOTE(oyching88 @ Jun 22 2017, 11:47 AM) Those with water dispenser is different from instant boil, water dispenser will keep reboil when the temperature drop. Instant water boiler only boil when you press the button and ready to use around 3-5 secs. QUOTE(weikee @ Jun 22 2017, 12:38 PM) Why is it hard to boil own water when need it? For parents with kids, just use vacuum flask. I stop using the Thermo pots and my electric usage drop RM 10 per month. video link again for instant water heaterCold water, just add ice or put water in fridge. Those instant things is waste of electric. For those don't mind ok lah. so far it still functioning very well and it only serve normal, warm, hot, hotter, hottest water... no need self mix (aka old method) for cold water i just use weikee method... or using ice cube i put into the fridge using filter water.... QUOTE(ping1234 @ Jun 24 2017, 09:02 AM) I am looking for aquaphor crystal eco as well, went to MF3 expo and they quoted me rm 1699 which is the same as what zheilwane is offering. aquaphor water flow rate definitely is better than mine based on video shown by zheilwane bro on youtube... coz my incoming water pressure is not high so the water flow out from filter is slow also... for 2 liter need about 3-4 minute (if directly drawing)...Gonna get it from zheilwane since he has combo package with Multipore outdoor filter. Any other forumers found better deal ? so for those who buying new water filter need consider the water flow rate also beside all those certification etc... |

QUOTE(catchmeifyoucan @ Oct 24 2017, 05:34 PM) Hi what do you all think about Aquasana? Looking for a under sink filter and find it's cheap for a 3 stage filteration system. if your house dont have outdoor filter... better to install a prefilter for this... the filter need to change every 6 month and is about 560 per 2 set filterhttps://www.lazada.com.my/aquasana-aq-5300-...c=MfTj&rb=58356 |

QUOTE(hestati @ Apr 21 2018, 05:30 PM) Alright, I will do my best to present my new system, which I call Fresca Disruptor (FD) here. THIS IS NOT SALES PITCH. I will only share pure facts and whenever there's my opinion, I will clearly indicate it. But apologies if I break the rules of the forum. If your mount a bracket to “lift” it will it easier to change / replace the filterPics are under the spoiler: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I not happy with my current Aquasana type water filter Very slow water flow rate and the filter seems not so dirty after 1 year I brought a water meter (not yet arrive) to test it later I thinking installing a pre filter and a master filter before this filter Looking for other solution if possible but the problem is that I still have replacement filter for 2 years p.s. anyone want saw cut it open and compare? QUOTE(hestati @ Apr 29 2018, 11:57 AM) FD has a bracket, can be mounted on it, but what we do is actually slightly different. We leave extra long tubing. This way, when you need to service the system, you just take it out and put in your sink without disconnecting. So any water that leaks when maintenance is done, will go directly into sink without making any mess. which type 1 micron pleated poly setup u recommend, the housing and the filter? when i research more i see the stage 1 its 20 micron then i As for Aquasana, what are these cartridges? I tried to find it online, Aquasana bombards you with information, but doesn't tell you what is each cartridge. First one they say is sediment 20 micron, ok, but what is it made of? Is it melt blown cartridge? One of the stages is clearly 0.5 micron modified carbon block, I'm supposing that would be last stage, but what is stage 2? Anyway, I see 2 potential problems. If stage 1 and stage 2 are "depth" filtration, meaning they catch particles inside rather than on the surface (like a sponge vs a net), then they get blocked and there is no way to wash it. Second issue could be that stage 3, being modified carbon block with 0.5 absolute is so heavily modified that it gets blocked in no time with non-sediment type of contaminants. Solution to problem 1 would be a washable pre-filter, 5 micron or even 1 micron pleated poly, depending on what your stage 2 is. But then you may as well not use stage 1 of Aquasana (it's 20 micron). This may solve second problem as well, and if not then you need a sub micron pre filter (UF, Disruptor type etc). But overall, I never understood why Aquasana made these 1/2 filters... Clearly they get blocked 2 times faster than full size filters. P.S. and why do they say on Lazada that system is made in USA when it is not, but that's not related to our discussion. or should i buy a douton cermaic filter as prefilter... QUOTE(hestati @ Apr 29 2018, 01:17 PM) No, ceramic is the worst idea as pre filter. Ceramic can be ok last stage, but as pre filter it will get blocked even faster than Aquasana. Ok I try go find at ace hardware today since hardware shop no openFor pre filter, you can get standard housing+fittings+cartridge. I will drop some pictures later today. We are planning to sell supply pre filter with every Aquaphor in the future, so I have some ideas. So if my stage 3 is 5 micron, should I add another ceramic doulton after this filter which is 0.9 micron since we have no idea what is the stage 2 filter is |

QUOTE(hestati @ Jun 29 2018, 11:27 AM) It doesn't work that way, unfortunately. Do not forget that NSF is USA standard, if system is not selling in USA, chances are it will not have NSF. Many very expensive German systems do not have NSF. if the filter cannot remove bacteria, no boil cannot drink? On the other hand, in USA, most systems have NSF 42, either at system or component level (meaning all components are NSF, but system itself doesn't have a certificate with it's name). And then there is California... They do not accept or respect NSF, they have their own standards and their certification is bloody expensive. So once a company does certify in California, then they can go ahead and get NSF 53 at the same time, for example. Rather than looking for NSF, look for what filter is able to do. Example, 3M Easy Complete and Aquasana are NSF from top to bottom, but they cannot remove bacteria, so technically still not safe to drink directly. Yes, there are quality cheaper filters in 800-1200 range. But 800 is probably minimum for direct drinking water filter. Can have slightly cheaper one to remove taste, odor, chlorine, VOCs etc, but then still must boil. |
