i want to ask about the bill after upgarde to unifi.

i already paid the bill of streamyx 19/7/14 - 18/8/14

my unifi is install at 1/8/14, streamyx terminate after few day.

now the unifi bill is coming

VIP5 (24 Months Contract) Monthly Fee 01/08/2014 18/08/2014 86.52
VIP5 (24 Months Contract) Monthly Fee 19/08/2014 18/09/2014 149.00

tm will not refund the balance to me? since my streamyx already terminate around 4/8/14. now i already paid more 4/8/14 - 18/8/14

Yes me and one of my friend has issues accessing mail.live.com

may i know if you are using automatic DNS or some other DNS?

I tried connecting via VPN and Maxis Mobile Internet (via USB tethering) and they both worked, so it must be unifi issue
Only another friend who using using Maxis Fibre did not get affected.

streamyx account and unifi account are both independent.

your unifi bill cycle = 19th. since service commencement = 1/8/14, the prorated usage = 18 days / 31 days for August X RM149 = RM86.52 (rounded).

since the monthly fee is actually an advance payment (for next month), your current bill on 19/8/14 is charging next full month at RM149.

From my experience, I managed to get TM to prorate the bill.
So you only pay for the days before terminated.
And UniFi bill should also be prorated for the few days left in the billing cycle.

My router innatech show INTERNET red light

No internet

What is the possible problem?

I call unifi n they reset the network but the problem still exist

Since im not around this weekend n their report only last for 3 days, i have to re-report the problem.

They said after 3 days if we dun follow up (they will call u), the report is void.
Have to file complaint report

I replaced my 2-day old Innatech RG4332 with an ASUS RT-N12 D1 wireless router.

The difference is night and day.

I should have done it on day one. biggrin.gif
